I saw Ladybird yesterday and goddamn did it resonate with me. I can't think of a more relatable coming of age movie, specifically the main character's experience growing up Catholic and her close relationship with her father, sense of place/connection to her hometown, etc.
Really amazing movie. Highly recommend. I'm definitely expecting to sweep awards season.

Watched John Wick 2. It was pretty good and I didn't really care for the first one. Looking forward to the 3rd one. |

We have a tv in the checkout area at work now to help alleviate wait time fatigue, so the last movies I watched were Moana, Home Alone, Jingle All the Way, and Frosty the Snowman.
