Won $1100 in my main fantasy league with my pals. Feels GOOD! I finally get my name engraved on that trophy. My team was HOT this year, finished first overall, finished with the most points, and won the whole thing. Had a huge lull in the middle though, W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L-L-W-W-W-W-W-W-W. What a weird run lol

Anyway I get to choose the theme for next year now. Everyone names their teams accordingly. We've done Breaking Bad, sports movie characters, alcoholic bevs, Super Smash characters. To name a few

no clue. i came in second in the playoffs this year in my league. won 9 in a row before losing in the title game. i have won the league twice before but this is the first time i have finished in second and i forget if i just get my entry fee back or if i get 1 or 2 payouts from other people

While that would be nice, this team has been so bad for so long. When Alex Muerelo took over he made a lot of mistakes (which is why the team is gone) but one smart move he made was hiring Bill Armstrong as GM. The youth on this team is so good and they are gonna be an exciting team to watch in SLC.

So it sucks to know even if they bring it back, it’s not gonna be the same team.

Based on what I've heard, people seem to think the owner will fail at getting an arena deal, he just made about $800mill so he may not care to buy the team back from the NHL. I suspect if he doesn't win the land auction, he won't bother, but if he does win, they should get one again. Many think new ownership should do it.
