I was going to post an updated vote count, but you naughties don't deserve one. :P

I get it as a way of taking your vote off someone just not why you have to do it before voting someone else immediately. It just adds a step that isn't required. It is a bad process.

I don't understand the problem of just calling by their prefered username.

I don't think that matters to nofo. Also, he changed his name to Dave at least once since I have been on the site. Can you see my confusion as to why it has suddenly become an issue? Out of the blue with no warning.

It's a rule, so you have two choices. Vote in a new, better set of mods, who can remove the rule, or deal with the current rule and make sure to tell everyone you meet how terrible it is. Choice is yours. I know the one I'm up for.

for the record, i changed my name to Dave when it first started happening to MAKE IT LESS INTERESTING because I don't like it.

I think some one told me they search keywords when counting votes, and the unvoting helps them keep track.
