Just the clue, but IMO "vanilla" suggests town alignment. That was the keyword in the clue.

Vanilla Mafia is also a role, though. That's a Mafioso with no other powers, just as 'Nilla Townie is a Town member with no other powers.

I guess we'll have to ask Wikey about it, then. Like I said, "vanilla" was the only keyword, so I just assumed town, but yeah I suppose we can't rule out scum.

Lynching herm doesnt necessarily do that if he is town.

If he is town we would then also have to lynch angi to see if the list is true.
