I need a good beer for the weekend ... I may even share one with my college gal coming for the weekend.

Suggestions?

I'm going to be drinking an old ale that's a local Heavy Seas/Union collaboration. Go for a nice old ale too. If Sam Smith's Yorkshire Stingo is out and about for you, go grab some of that.

I'm a fan of their Oatmeal Stout, I'll look for the Yorkshire.

I like it. heavy malt flavor up front with a very light hop bite on the back.

It was a Draft Magazine top 25 beer ten or so years ago.

Another big delivery coming next week, but I also stopped at the bottle shop quick yesterday to kick off my week of spring break.

Troegs Fresh Cut IPA was fantastic.

Also split Hitchhiker's Strawberry Margarita Gose with my wife. Probably one of my favorite Gose beers that I've had in a while.

I have a couple bottle shops I've become friends with the owners or beer buyers, so they'll set stuff aside for me if I ask. But even if I don't ask, they often have really good stuff come in quantitywise for me to get some.

For those wondering, I think Ben is referring to this beer I had the other night (the 17.2% ABV bomb):

I had a group of beer drinking friends that originally I wanted us to post beers in categories to compare and such. But most ended up doing that on Untappd and such, so it ended up being me categorizing all my beers. So if you need recommendations on a particular style, I can link an album.
