I really enjoyed it. I did laugh because I figured it would get a ton of hate.

People complain when they feel like the story is slow, but then they're also the people who complain when they feel like there's not enough backstory or character development. You just can't win with them most of the time. It was a great episode in my opinion.

Yeah I agree. I feel like there are two very different types of fans of this show. Neither type consistently gets exactly what they want. It's probably hell to be a writer for it tbh

People hated that episode? Was real good IMO.

I don't see what people could hate. The arc they are setting up for the Governor? I like it. It'll make it more conflicting when he gets to the prison because we know what he will have become by then. But will they understand or forgive him? And who will we be rooting for? I loved this episode. Everything about it was amazing and I didn't expect a "twist" ending but I got one slightly. Excited for the last 2 episodes before the break. It's going to be a long two months.

All caught up, really liked the past few episodes. Curious to see the rest of the fallout from the Carol situation.

Need to start watching the talking dead, haven't been recording that. Also, anyone following the web stuff? I was lost on the random clips they showed.

The newest webisodes weren't bad. They tie into the main plot in one very loose way

Also, I really enjoy when they explore the rest of the world and give us a view into the lives of others/random people. I hope the spinoff or whatever they have in production shows a lot of this.

I was about to write a huge rant about Martinez/Shumpert just inexplicably disappearing after letting them live last season. Was excited to see Caesar show up in the end there.... though it looks like Shumpert probably bit it between story arcs. rip in peace :(

Began to really hate the episode at the start, but it got good towards the end. I really like how Gov sees Penny in Meghan and if something ever happens to her, which you know something will, the aftermath is going to beunreal. The way he killed those walkers in the pit was fucking crazy.

THE TANK! Fuck yes. Great little nod to the comic fans. "KILL THEM ALL!". I can see the midseason ending like that. That means shit has to really escalate by the end of this episode though
