The delivery box for my PS5 is p. beat up and the PS5 box was just loose inside.
Doesn't bode well for its treatment. |

Even though I think the console is ugly, it's beautiful and its blue glow soothes my worries that it will stop working an hour into Demon's Souls.
Which just now installed because it got here much later than the console. | |

At least this console takes discs unlike the xbrick series x.
Been installing a bunch of games. Going to dive into Miles Morales the first chance I get which will probably be tomorrow. |

Skipped it because I sent my old consoles up to my moms so I have stuff to play when I go up there |

My N64 still runs like a charm, no issues here.
I have been thinking of getting a console again in the near future though. Recommendations on Xbox vs. PS? I had a 360 back when those were cool but nothing since then. | | |

Depends in what you like to play and with whom. If you want to play baseball games you have to go playstation. |

depends how much you wanna play God of War, Naughty Dog games (Uncharted, Last of Us), Spider-Man, etc. PS is winning the exclusives war which is why I switched from 360 -> PS4 last gen
and if you have a decent gaming PC then there's really no reason to go Xbox imo, since every "Microsoft exclusive" will be available on both |  |

A lot if games are also going cross play so pc is even better |

Pretty much the reason I switched to Sony this last generation. Even the threat of Bethesda no longer being on PlayStation doesn't have me too worried because I can still get it for PC and my best memories of Bethesda games have been on PC.
I was pretty set on getting a PS5 during launch but after failing to get a preorder, I'm going to take it as a blessing in disguise. I have never gotten a new console year one of launch. I just hooked my PS4 up to my bedroom after having it sit in a drawer for nearly a half year and there's still plenty of fun to be had on it.
Besides, I still gotta finish my 2020 backlog thread! |
