Even Bianco Hills (level 1) levels are hard lol.

Petey Piranha in the town especially. Getting the red coins. And then some of the blue coins, getting them is so challenging. And I want to complete the game at 100% so I’m going for ALL OF IT.

The blooper squid red coin level in ep2 will make you hate life.

I think I'm officially at about 60 shines.

I had to use a manual to look up a bunch of blue coins. Some are legit impossible to find on your own, can't believe they hid them so well.

I’m about 20 stars into Super Mario Galaxy now.

Wow this game is VERY VERY different than the others. I didn’t expect this at all. Itssssss fun but idk. Some of it is dizzying. Really cool levels and soundtrack though. The controls are a little wonky since it was meant for Wii

Finally beat Super Mario 64. Not even the full 120 stars just the main game. Was a lot of fun. I’ve played Sunshine more recently so I think I’m gonna jump into Galaxy next. Will probably go back and get 120 later.

I got it for Christmas, started on 64.
I'm so used to playing it with the n64 controller, it's tripping me up.

There’s another short clip or somethjng if you also get every moon with Luigi. So I got all 200 or whatever, but only with Mario.

Finally beat the main Sunshine game. It is both my favorite and least favorite of them.

I love the idea of a central location and how compact the different levels are, as opposed to a central hub and going to all these random impersonal levels.

But jeez the game design has some major flaws. Some of the levels are just bad. Chucksters was miserable. The red coin lily pad level is a pain in the butt to even get Yoshi to that pipe only to come across an impossible level where you will likely game over. Honestly my least favorite might be the runaway Ferris wheel, not because it’s overly difficult but the camera never wanted to cooperate for me and it made it 100x harder.

On top of that to fully 100% the game you have to find 30 blue coins on every level which are not in every version of that level and the only way to tell what ones you are missing is to look online.

I’ve still got to get to 120 in 64 and Sunshine and then maybe eventually I’ll replay Galaxy as Luigi to get the final level but will probably take a break and get 3D World + Bowsers Fury since I heard that was pretty good and I never played it on Wii U.
