I'll probably refrain from participating this year, as it was brutally apparent I have very different musical tastes from almost everybody else, and there is no need to torture you all with a song each month, when I'm most likely not going to listen to the playlist in its entirety at all anyways.

Spin I do this just to find new music I might like sense most of the stuff I like no one makes anymore.

And to expose these peeps to music I think is good that they probably have never heard and maybe they will like also.

I’m more than happy to give your suggestions and everyone else’s a listen. At least for long enough to see if I might actually like it. I’ve been pleasantly surprised a few times. You never know.

Just don’t try to see this too much as a game/ competition imo. Out of all 10 or 12 or idk how many playlists only one of my songs made it to this 2019 playlist but that is fine yknow.

Sometimes I choose songs by independent artists that don’t get any radio time and sometimes I choose songs that I rly like but are on a so-so album that I never play in its entirety. Not trying to please anyone :p

me too, I try for at least 1 vote for my song each time. That's my goal at least.
