Well, obviously the 10-year old's parents won't let them keep it, so they'll swap, and then when they don't really want it at the end, they'll open it up, and the adults can partake in a celebratory drink to end the festivities.

Way more useful than some small gadget you'll take home and never use or already have one.

well the odds are good that you won't have the worst gift, and that's really all that matters.

How about a $10 gift card to Chipotle, a bottle of your favorite hot sauce, and a pack of toilet paper? That should be about $20-25.

it will be interesting because you'll see who put thought into their gift and who made the least amount of effort. :P And there probably will be some similar gifts as well with that many people participating.

Would a gift card from Amazon or something like that be a dumb idea? When this type of thing happens in Canada, a lot of gifts are snow shovels/brushes, gloves and scarves and stuff or Tim Horton's gift cards. lol

A restaurant gift card is not a bad idea either, like Spin suggested, with or without the toilet paper.
