Fake is the only way to go.

It says a lot about our society and complete disregard for the environment that we feel entitled to cut down a tree to put in our houses for 2 weeks, then toss in the trash when we are done.

You are doing it wrong if it’s only for 2 weeks. That’s not societies fault.

Either way, that tree had to grow for 15-20 years before you cut it down, unnecessarily. You want a real tree? Decorate one out in your yard.

What if I told you I bought it from a place that takes money out of the proceeds of the purchase to plant a replacement?

I also love the smell of real ones. My parents always got a real one as I was growing up. Nowadays I have a couple tiny fake ones I decorate.

Stop it spin. There are tree farms that replant every year and dead trees feed the earth.
