someone tell me how to feel about the DiVincenzo pick

Your team picked a guy who wasn't even good enough to be a starter on his college team, but got hot as a sub in the national championship game. 6 months ago, it would have been silly to even think he'd go out for the draft.

But, he'll probably be pretty good.

I'm not excited about the Wolves pick. They need a 3 point shooter, as they are probably the worst 3-point shooting team in the league. So, instead of drafting a shooter, they draft a guard who is an outstanding defender, but struggles to both get his own shot, and knock down open shots when given them. Maybe Tibs should stick to just coaching, and not being a GM as well.

And with their second round pick, with plenty of decent 3-point shooters still out there, they take an older college wing, who is lanky and can score, but isn't "athletic" and doesn't shoot the three all that well.

Guess I should be prepared for the Wolves to lead the league in mid-range jumpers for another season. Yay 8th seed!

1 injury and that 8 seed turns into the 11th seed

very happy Baynes signed so fast and for just his non bird price. now we just need Smart to not get any big offers, and word is if it happens he will play for the qualifying offer. would keep us under the tax with a full roster.

I'm still not a fan of Wiggins getting the max, he hasn't proven anything and by this point you should know if he's a star or not...

I still feel like someone might try to over pay Smart. He's great for the Celtics as a 6th man, i wouldn't pay him to be a starter

Paul George woo hoo. Excited Nuggets resigned Barton too, however with the way the NBA is set up now idk if they can ever be contenders unless Gary harris starts Ballin hardcore.

not a lot of teams left with cap room and word is Smart wants $14+ mil per year. next off season with some of those 2016 contracts ending and a ~$8 mil jump in the cap there will be a lot more money then there is this summer. so playing for the qualifying offer and being an unrestricted free agent next summer might be his best choice.

its not as bad since it only gets to $31 mil in the final year. if he develops into a better player then he would get even more if he was a free agent.

OKC is going to pay so much tax unless they move Melo. its crazy repeater tax land, stretching Melo saves them over $100 mil in tax.

Denver can clear $60+ mil in cap room in the 19-20 off season, might give them a chance to bring in 2 max players, especially if they can dump Plumlee.

I’ve been a Nuggets fan since I started watching basketball, around when melo came into the league. I picked Thunder up as a number two just from living here in OK so long.

The Wiggins deal was fine until they got Butler. Now, Wiggins doesn't get enough touches to be effective. I don't see Wiggins on the Wolves through the completion of the contract.

I didn't mind the Butler move, they needed a star. Just their team is poorly put together, especially for today's NBA. And i'm not entirely sold on Tibs either
