Question 10: Name one ORG I've played?

Answers: RUSTIC, MAGUS, EMPIRE, and CRUCIBLE (but I try to forget about it)!! (5) - jamie, nav, jacob, brian, curtis
This one clearly benefitted the Rustic crew. I found my way to these online communities through ORGs about a year ago, but believe in long breaks (and possible current retirement) so I've only played 4.

Incorrect Answers

JAMIE GETS ON THE BOARD!!! Also fun fact, I have no idea who's going to win because I'm calculating these as I go.

Question 11: What industry do I currently work in?

Answers: FINANCE!! (8) - jamie, nav, jacob, brian, spin, herm, ahoda, kc
Yup, I'm a sellout. I currently work for a hedge fund, running recruiting and talent for their engineering program (basically, how many people we need to hire to hit our goals, where to find them, interview structure, onboarding and training through the first few years. And running our internship!)

Incorrect Answers
Tech (3) - primate, im317, christian

Question 12: Which of these is not a true story?

Answers: JAPANESE FISHING BOAT!! (6) - jamie, nav, jacob, boc, brian, jj
I reallllllllly wanted to do this my freshman summer of college, but my mom nixed it for obvious reasons and I went to Norway instead. This is why parents are important and why I'm sometimes too risk tolerant for my own good.

Incorrect Answers
Backcountry skiing (1) - ahoda
One of the highlights of my freshman year and way better than spending days on the bunny slope.

Muay Thai (7) - primate, im317, wikey, spin, merc, curtis, kc
Did this during a long trip abroad between college and starting work. Really cool experience, although I realized I'm not a fighter.

Norway (3) - christian, herm, vlady
I basically got a grant from my school to write a report on their national hut system, which translated into a lot of serving dinner and doing dishes, plus two days a week free to explore the mountains.

53.6 miles (1) - shadow
Based off a tradition at my college, kick started my love of stupidly long hikes.

jacob - 94
brian - 69

herm - 59
nav - 58
boc - 51
primate - 48

Brian hits 69 and JJ gets points, meaning everyone is on the board!

Question 13: Which of these am I not half-heartedly working on?

Answers: RECORDING MY FIRST ALBUM!! (5) - jacob, jj, spin, herm, vlady
I don't like performing (see: magician) and am actually quite shy about singing in front of people. Music for me is personal, a way of expressing myself when I can't find the words, and that's not something I'm driven to share with others.

Incorrect Answers
Writing a novel (0) -
Detective novel meets fantasy with dark psychological underpinnings, coming to you in 2030

Learning parkour (6) - brian, merc, curtis, ahoda, kc, shadow
Gone to classes at gyms on and off for the past few years and it's the most fun I've ever had getting in shape. Would love to be more consistent about it now, but my work schedule doesn't line up very well with gym open hours.

Self-Study (4) - primate, nav, boc, christian
I may bitch about school a lot, but I do really love learning. My current topics of choice are psychology and math, but given how good I am at being consistent with this, it's always liable to change.

Piano (3) - jamie, im317, wikey
I mentioned above that I played for 12 years, but I fell out of practice when I left for college. Currently playing more than I did, but it's frustrating to get back to where it's more fun than work.

Question 14: If everyone had understood that _______, high school would have been so much easier.

Answer: IQ!! (8) - jamie, nav, jacob, spin, herm, ahoda, kc, vlady
Perceiving the world differently from almost everyone around you can get really lonely, especially when people ignore the bad for the good and you're not "allowed" to struggle. Intelligence is also correlated with depression, which has fucked me up for years.

Incorrect Answers
Adopted (2) - jj, curtis
Not unless there's something my parents REALLY aren't telling me

Religious household (8) - primate, im317, boc, brian, wikey, christian, merc, shadow
I'm entertained that this was such a popular answer. I grew up protestant (presbyterian) and have recently been exploring my Jewish heritage, but I wouldn't say religion played a particulary formative role in my childhood.

FINAL QUESTION: Which one of these have I not had for a meal?

Answer: ONION RINGS AND HOT SAUCE!! (9) - jacob, brian, wikey, christian, jj, merc, curtis, kc, shadow
Despite being totally down to try weird foods, I've never liked cooked onions all that much and generally avoid onion rings.

Incorrect Answers
Mashed potatoes (5) - primate, nav, boc, ahoda, vlady
I really really really wish I could say this has only happened once..........

Scotch and ice cream (1) - herm
Pretty sure this led to me being belligerently drunk on a rustic call playing bgo

Cheddar popcorn (3) - jamie, im317, spin
See: mashed potatoes
