I play Nintento games, I have a Playstation and I play Megaman games so it ended up being pretty simple.

EA should be for how much of my life has been wasted playing the sims but EA is also fucking terrible

Nintendo:

- all of the marios. Specifically Paper Mario TTYD

Telltale:

- TWD S1, though Batman S2 and Borderlands follow right behind.

Take Two:

- this is Borderlands right? NBA 2k games are decent too.


Honestly I went too quick I probably would have put Naughty Dog over Take-Two for Uncharted. EA for the NHL games and I guess Madden was thought about.

MVP 06: NCAA Baseball was the best game. In it, you could create your own stadiums. It was a freaking blast. I spent way too much time my senior year of college making stadiums designed specifically for my created players to crush in (i.e. really short right field fences and green monsters at 400+ feet everywhere else). Hell, I'm considering bringing the xbox out of storage and loading it back up now.

If only the XBox One was fully backwards compatible, I could actually play all my old games on it. Instead, it now gets to sit and look pretty until I have a blu ray movie the family wants to watch.

Actually I just picked Other because in general I really like indie or smaller companies like Hinterland, Campo Santo, Giant Sparrow, Kalypso, Devolver, Paradox, etc

Telltale for TWD and some other great titles. I also just really like that company and what they’re doing outside of a couple of goofy missteps

Ubisoft and EA are in the same boat for me. They aren’t overall great, especially recently, but Ubisoft has Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Assassins Creed which were some of my favorites growing up. EA has The Sims and Battlefield which I love + a few others I enjoy

Nintendo probably should’ve been one of my three because..Nintendo. But o well

And OTHER goes to Dontnod (Life is Strange), Campo Santo (Firewatch), and Irrational (Bioshock). And very excited to see what Ghost Story does, aka the new Irrational

My favorites to follow are definitely Campo Santo, Dontnod, Telltale, and Ghost Story. They’re just fun to track even if they don’t have the massive libraries that Nintendo and EA have. I am ROOTING FOR THEM!

I found out recently that Bioshock was made basically down the road from me. Ghost Story exists there now and Ken Levine works there. I’d love to tour the office someday, it looks so cool

Oh apparently I should’ve followed and rooted for Campo Santo more because all 12 employees were acquired by Valve

OH NO!!!!

They’re still working on In the Valley of Gods but it’ll be published as a Valve game now and Campo Santo will be no more. I like Valve but that’s a bummer

Microsoft, perhaps purely for Age of Empires.

Obsidian, for Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas, probably my favourite series ever.

And Paradox, even though I kind of hate their games as they are all horribly addictive, and there is no such thing as playing casually.
