Jaws has horror elements, but it's also action/ adventure, thriller, and buddy flic all rolled into one.

JP has sci fi elements, but the main point is action/adventure. It has absolutely zero horror elements. | | |

Alien has some horror, psycho thriller aspects and some action. I could call it half horror, but not a full on horror movie. | | |

Jaws I'd classify as a thriller if I had to pick just one genre but is more horror than Jurassic Park cuz it's less adventure more slasher
