I listened to a clip when someone was isolating the two sounds.

I only heard yanny throughout the entirety of the video, not sure what this laurel sound is.

There are quite distinct Ls and Rs in the sound clip. Laurel, clear as day.

Last night, I listened to it (at various volume levels) multiple times, and every time it was "Yanny".

This morning, I listened to it again (at various volume levels) multiple times, and every time it was "Laurel".

I'm thinking they just pulled a Josh, and every time you refresh it's a different video clip.
