2006 - Three Buddies of mine and I went on line the night before the game and bought 4 tickets to the Tigers / A's American League Championship Series. Went to the game had a great time and watched Magglio hit a walk off home run to win it. Too bad they didn't play well in the World Series, but I didn't go to any of those games.
2004 - My brother and I had bought tickets for the Michigan - Michigan State game in Ann Arbor before the season started. The game was crap as MSU was kicking our asses and the stands started to clear out. But with Michigan down 17 in the 4th quarter Braylon Edwards took the game over, we tied it at the end of regulation and won it in OT. Talk about a party afterwards.
1997 - My brother in law who was a season ticket holder at the time called me and asked if I wanted to go to the game, which I accepted. I would have never turned down a ticket to see Barry play at that time. He was great and needed a big day to become a 2000 Yard rusher, which I think made him the 3rd ever to reach that mark.
1997 - For this event, 4 of us just got in car and decided to drive to Joe Louis to see if we could scalp tickets to the game, we got down there early and ended up at a bar full of Red Wing fans and never really made it close enough to the Arena to try and get tickets we just partied there all night. So I didn't actually get tot his game.
Yup, Civil Engineering ended up being my major. I started in the general curriculum, and then tossed around the idea of going Mechanical or Civil after my sophomore year, but decided on Civil Engineering mainly because at the time it seemed that there were going to be more job opportunities when I graduated.
That's correct, we started dating my Freshman year of college in 1991, I happened to meet her when she roomed with on of my best friends girlfriend from High School. We hit it off right away, broke up a couple times, but never for very long and have now been married for nearly 20 years (Nov. 2018).
