It is a very interesting concept. Like it is very grey in terms of who the viewer thinks is the good guy / bad guy. Obviously Maeve is bad ass and what not, but you look as they explore the area and you see hundreds of dead people. Some who were just visiting a park they didn't truly understand. I thought maybe emphasizing some of the death would have been nice, make it seem more real. The scene with the hanging on the crosses was pretty cool.
I hope there is more method to the madness behind all the hosts just luring people to kill them. Like I guess their code is to make their world just them? Or is it to escape? That part is kind of a little unclear.
The DNA stuff is pretty interesting. Those exoskeleton dudes were pretty creepy, I don't blame Bernard. I enjoyed the episode. Looking forward to the next one. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I think Dolores was hinting at escaping the park and taking over the civilized world?

Only thing I'm worried about watching this episode is that it's going to get Game of Thrones syndrome where there is so much going on and so many stories to tell that it keeps switching back and forth but not showing enough of any of them to keep us satisfied.
It seems like this is only going to start getting crazier as this season goes on when they to back to the Jimmie Simpson timeline. Was still a good enough episode but yeah like Curtis said the first episode of the series wasn't exactly a spectacle either. It's meant to introduce us to what is going on this season and opening it up to explore more and I'm still super excited to see the "more" part.

I couldn’t tell if that was Teddy’s body floating in the water at the end. Apparently it was

Really? I couldn't tell at all. I suppose it seemed relevant but it didn't look remotely close to him. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Not really sure what was up with the ending?? Did Bernard querying the hosts cause that? If so not sure why not ALL of them would be affected since I'm sure e.g. Dolores is still up and running |
I'm guessing next ep is going to be about how Bernard killed them
I don't really know what to think about this episode.

I read something from J. Nolan today that said each season is kinda structured around how much the hosts know at that point in time since the show is mostly from their perspective. So in S1 the whole thing was a complete mindfuck puzzle cuz none of them really had any idea what was going on and were only starting to piece things together. This season they know more but there's still some gaps that have to be filled e.g. Bernard's missing memories and presumably whatever Young William's storyline is gonna be about. So it sounds like they're still gonna be playing with timelines a bit but it won't be nearly as central as it was in S1

8/10 - solid. seen it with gf, and in german, and lel no dolores got a new voice (I HATE when they switch actors...)
was overall pleased with what they've shown, bernard being undercover...I did not think of that tbh...can't see him keeping up the charade for long. I totally forgot names...the black delos chick is stealing DNA right? that was intriguing to see, that unknown cave down there.
are the hosts gone for good? "trevor" for example, he was amongst those executed at the beach - but can't they be "repaired", by someone?!
word curtis: they better NOT, have killed off felix and...his "pal"...the ginger dude. I really enjoyed seeing the two!
so glad the show's back

Given how much they jumped timelines in this first episode and since we see more young William coming, I'm expecting a lot more timeline jumps, but they'll be a bit more obvious now. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |
