Most steakhouses around here will list rare, mr, medium, and not responsible.

No it ends with me asking "what do you call well done?", and then I need answers.

Do you make coals out of it then or?

I love rare burgers as well.

I never order steak, but if i ever did it's medium well or whatever will come out at the same time as everyone else's food

You might as well. Anything above medium is called, "you can cook it yourself " if I'm grilling.

I'm a rare to medium rare person. Anything beyond medium and you should not eat steak.

IN terms of my favorite cuts to cook, I like a porterhouse because I can give my wife the filet and the kids the strip.

When we first got married, the wife would only eat Med Well +

After a few years of grilling steaks at home, I got her to order them Medium now.
