- I donate to CMN quite a bit.

- I've been helping my dad financially for the last 4 years. And I help him in other ways as well by giving him rides and letting him live in my basement apartment unit for practically free.

- I don't really help neighbors currently as I don't know them enough to do so. In my old apartment I mowed the lawn and cleaned around everyone's stoops on my own accord since our landlord was a schmuck who didn't take care of the property. I do help friends constantly with rides and money (although I've been careful with the latter as it could end really badly).

- I've given money to homeless people and have given strangers rides.

It was mostly drunk teenagers living in the same town as me, around 7-8 years ago. Not sure how wise it was, but some of them paid me afterwards.

Also, it was during work at night and not with my own car.

One time a woman asked me to guard her as she was parking her car in the garage, a truck driver had fallen asleep right next to her garage and he was just sitting there. She thought he was some sort of kidnapper.

Recently, I gave a dude a toonie who came up to me on the street. Being conned out of $2 (which wouldn't break me) is worth it in case the person actually needed it for food or a bus or something.
