Wait, they're coming out with SSB4? I thought Brawl was supposed to be the last installment of all time, ever. I feel so betrayed. Anyway, Paulus, I might have to dust off my Wii and take you up on that. I mained Luigi all through high school, and he and Ike are my characters of choice these days. (Though I still have an unhealthy obsession with seeing how many times in a match I can make Captain Falcon say "Show me your moves!" and still win. My all-time record is something around 200.)

They're making a fourth which will be co-developed by Namco and have a version on both the new Wii console and 3DS I believe.

I'll post up my friend codes later, I haven't played in a while so I might have a few practice rounds against the CPU first.

apparently the 3DS version will focus more on customisation and single player gaming... not exactly sure how that will work.

Oh, imagine if this game is 5 players... 4 pro controllers and another person with a screen who controls when and where the items fall. Kind of like a DM.

That doesn't sound too appealing to be honest.

could be good for tourneys and whatnot... and it wouldn't just have to be items... could be controlling random events or helping out shitty players or whatever. Kind of like what the 5th player will do in Super Mario Bros U.

Oh, it'd be really cool if they could draw the background for the picochat stage.

oh yeaaah, that'd be good. or they could direct all the Polygon/Wireframe guys around like an RTS game.

I just hope there will be online play where you can do teams of 4 or 8 player free for all.

oh yes... now that I think about it, more customisation on level design is a MUST.
I just really hope that this game won't have a lot of that Downloadable Pay Content... though I fear it might since Wii U is now capable of that sort of thing.
