amazing. I looooved this episode. Not only was it a really creative story but it was visually great to watch

the part with no genitals was hilarious. Nit picky but the solution to stop the guy and free themselves from the universe was so farfetch'd. Like how did that girl have that little white ball to replace the real white ball with

Haven't watched this show for ages. The last one I saw was the Jon Hamm christmas special, which iirc was pretty damn good.

I never really rated this show much, it was very hit and miss and mostly miss for me.

But it seems to have become quite popular lately, so I decided to check out the new season. I've only watched this episode so far, but I thought it was really good.

It was super predictable until the reveal that the crew of the Callister were sentient copies. After that, it got a lot better. It felt like a fresh take on a sci fi cliché.

I would have complained about the episode length if it weren't so damn entertaining. I was actually disappointed when it ended. It was refreshing to see a relatively happy ending on this show, and I wasn't bothered at all by the Aaron Paul cameo.

If this episode is anything to go by, Black Mirror has improved a lot. One of my problems with the show before was that it put nearly all of its focus on the concepts and almost none on building good characters.

I rewatched the first ep for comparison, and I thought it was terrible. I didn't give two shits about anything happening because all the characters were basically plot devices. Whereas I was rooting for the characters in this ep.

I'll definitely be checking out the rest of the season.

Just started watching this this week.

This episode started super bizarre for me. I didn't know what was going on and it seemed super cheesy. JV was in the background pissed that this episode made no sense (we were about 2 minutes in).

It was all just coasting, but once you realized the people stuck in the alter universe were conscious of the outside world and were completely enslaved to Daly and his engine, it got real interesting.

I went from feeling bad for Daly and enjoying that he had his alter universe to go to in order to blow off steam and be the big guy when he isn't in his real life to completely hating Daly and hoping somehow they could find a way to figure it out.

The whole time they were plotting and scheming and trying to pull it off, it was super tense. I expected them to fall short and be trapped forever as they have done stuff like that before.

But it all went full circle when Daly lost them and you realized he would be stuck in his own game forever...floating in the ship in space. It was great. Definitely one of their top episodes to date, I think.

Also, when Annette was sending messages to herself, it felt so frustrating knowing she didn't know a version of herself was being tortured in a game.

Then you think if it even matters and if the real her didn't feel anything, was it really a big deal...but it is her, almost like a cloned copy.

It was such a bizarre thought process.

Wikey you should definitely go back and check out S3 at some point, it was prob the best one

I enjoyed the episode. It was quite sad and tragic. I felt really sorry for Daly even though he was an asshole in his own world. I didn't feel that sorry for the people bc it wasn't real real but it was nice to see them work together to take over even though it cost him his life.

That technology tho...
