I’m so mad. I lost my kicker (zerline) since he “slept on his back wrong” and aggravated his back injury so he is having surgery. TWO of my WR (Benjamin and Fitzgerald) DNP yesterday (one now has full practice while the other is still limited). My third WR (Sanu) now has a limited practice today... my RB on the bench (Burkhead) DNP today and Also my other WR on the bench (maclin) is disqualified.
Anyone want to give me some WR!?!
So much for the championship... I hate football. |
Pro-tip: Nobody practices fully in December. |
Thanks for the pro tip. I am a newbie.
But losing zurline because he slept on his back wrong is so frustrating. He was my star. RIP |
Pro-tip #2: All starting kickers are basically the same**
**This is based on statistical analysis of 5+ seasons of data showing the difference between a top 5 kicker and an easily accessible on the waiver wire kicker is roughly 1-2 points per game over the course of a season.

I blame the auto-draft software. There is only so much a person can do when Orleans Darkwa is your #1 RB all season.

Zueliein is a star. He is not your average kicker! He got me 16+ points in 7 games this season. He was better than most my WRs! He was consistent and reliable. IM317 will understand the devastation.
My free agent kicker off the roster will never compare!!!

The difference between Zuerlein and Forbath was 3.4 points per game this season. You only had one matchup decided by less than 3.4 points (a loss in Week 8), and if you had Forbath then, you'd have won.
You'll be fine. | |

Guys.
I need some help/advice. I'm in the finals in my $ league (it's a standard, non-ppr league).
Would you guys start Devin Funchess? (I have Stephon Diggs on the bench, as well as Keelan Cole). Diggs is on the bench because I have Latavius Murry in the flex and don't want to double dip on Vikings. Keenan Allen is my other starter.
TE: I have Jimmy Graham starting (Wilson is my QB): but I also have Greg Olsen on my bench. Again, not feeling double dipping and starting both Funchess and Olsen...
Lastly, DEF: Bears defence vs Browns, or Panthers defence vs Bucs.
PLEASE HELP ME I CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND.

TE: Jimmy Graham
FLEX: Latavius Murray
K: Harrison Butker
DEF: Bears
Bench:
Nick Foles
Stephon Diggs
Keelan Cole
Tyrell Williams
Greg Olsen

there were so many teams that changed starting RBs this season, if you were never able to pick one up off waivers then that's on you.

Browns are more inept then the Bucs, but i have no idea about either defense. still probably go with the Bears because the Browns are a hot mess.
im going with Walker after getting Olson off waiver also ahead of Rudolph. that said im starting Diggs but only because i don't like the FA options.
i think Olson and Diggs might be the play for you. iirc Graham has been crap recently.

I picked up Darkwa off waivers. In a 16-team league, there are no RBs worth grabbing off the waiver wire.

16? ouch. i actually just dropped Darkwa after having him on my bench of in my lineup for a number of weeks. that also makes auto draft worse with so many teams. it always fills the lineup before picking a bench. in a 16 team league you probably need to go RB in at least 2 of the first 3 rounds and then again 2 more times by round 8.

You've literally been posting in the 16-team FE league thread all season about your non-FE, non-16 team league team.
My autodraft went WR (Jordy)-WR (Hilton)-WR (Crabtree)-TE (Reed)-RB (Martin)-RB (Riddick)-QB (Carr) Just getting to .500 was an accomplishment, I believe.

i had no idea it was a 16 team league. you think i look at the league itself? that is impressive with such a poor starting team.

well i was right about Diggs over Funchess, but Olson had a poor game. have to wait and see if Graham does better. 14 points for the Bears defense and 19 for the Panthers so either one was a good choice.

I did not start Diggs. I kept Funchess in but I wanted to badly switch him out. I should have put Keelan Cole in, but that TB match-up looked appealing.
I kept Jimmy in because I didn't want all my guys (other then Wilson) to be done after the 1pm games so that was a safe call. I kept the Bears in too, which is fine - although of course, I had dropped the Seahawks D for them and they go off today, haha.
But Todd "God" Gurley.
I am up 57. My opponent only has LeVeon left so I'll have won in my money league two years in a row now! And 3 out of 6 years we've been doing the league. Nobody is going to want to trade with me next season now lol.
