He wrote his business plan in college, got the lowest grade, and the professor told him it would never work. Raising Cane's looks a whole lot like a chain we have here in Little Rock called Slim Chickens that my daughter loves.

Fazolis is dope. In HS we'd get the spaghetti and breadsticks every week. Haven't eaten there in years. Honestly didn't realize they were still afloat.

I'm with you Igor, I don't get why people love Panera so much. I like going to grab coffee and a bagel (pastry), but that's just because its convenient, not because I have to have it.

That place sounds like one I would try now

Chipotle is amazing and I love it!

Raising Cane's has the best chicken fingers, best fries and best best toast so it's a slam dunk.

Jersey Mike's is the best sandwhich of all time and I eat it bi-weekly if not weekly.

I went Five Guys over McAllisters because I eat Five Guys more.

I would think Raising Cane's would be a fast food place. I consider having a standard drive thru as fast food but that is another debate (and I am sure would turn into a very heated one).

There´s a Jersey Mike's Subs across the street from my work, have never gone there.

The town I grew up in had 0/20 of these (they now have a Jimmy John's), but the whole fast-casual thing didn't really pick up steam until I was in H.S., so that's not a surprise.

16/20 were available in Tucson when I was there (from my recollection).

8/20 are available in Little Rock.

I miss living in Tucson. The food there is just freaking awesome.

Not sure what makes these fast casual instead of fast food, but:

Panda Express - cheap chinese, excellent orange chicken
Five Guys - burgers are decent for over cooked, but fries are the winner
Qdoba - queso and chips- nuff said
Firehouse Subs - sandwiches are pretty quality


Place I will never go: Jimmy Johns. Owner is a slimeball and he doesn't deserve any cash.
