Lole is like lol in spanish.

tho if I'm saying it out loud it's el oh el. But always lawl in my head when I'm reading it

Internet before broadband was not fun times, it drove my parents mad since it blocked important phone calls.

I try not to say it out loud as often as possible

If I do say it out loud it means I’m reading a sentence and lol is in it and in that case definitely el oh el. Anything else sounds so dumb out loud

Yeah- I didn't count BBSs as "internet" but those were 90 or so for me.
