These options are about equal for me but I fucking hated middle school and going back means being a part of my awful school district during some less than ideal times so i think i'd just take the money.

I hated all of school so much. Would definitely not want to do it again. I even could have went to a different school altogether, maybe my life would be better if I had but there's no guarantee of that.

I'm not sure (maybe we can ask the pollmaster), but I think the years in between are filled with memories which seem real enough.

How awkward were you at 10, Maddie?

This is kinda tough, honestly.

Going back to being 10 years old would SUCK in so many ways.

School - though I would end up in many high end classes and could then forge a new educational path for myself

Not driving - I would have to wait 6 years to get my license and would have to go back to the days of my parents driving me around

Some games wouldn't exist and I would have to wait for their release

I would lose all my current relationships and, if I happened to meet up with those certain people again, I would have insight to who they are without them even having met me. I would have to redo it all and no doubt the relationships would form differently. THAT would suck.


Maybe the only reason I would want to go back is to be with some of my friends that passed and try to prevent it...but again, I may not have that same relationship with them, so I don't think it would be a fun thing to see them again.


I'd hate to lose 20 years, but $50 mil would be amazing to just end your life with.

But being "10" and knowing all I know and having to bottle it up inside all your life to prevent yourself from looking like a psychopath to your friends and family, I think I would have to hop forward in time. But not sure yet. Will think more.

this is my main motive for leaning towards 10. There's a lot of stuff along these lines that i think would have really majorly helped, and I could have also helped my family out of some shitty situations, but going back to middle school/high school in my shitty town trumps the benefits.

my high school was falling apart and children were literally being sold for kickbacks

my town finally realized the school was falling apart 2 years ago and started tearing it down before they had a plan for the new school so they just sealed off the demolished part and made students continue going there because it turns out they can't afford any other options.

It's not a very good town.

My family is nuts and I've had my share of shit too and do not want to experience any of it again. I'd probably also have a breakdown eventually about being from the future and be put in a hospital.
