I played a sport in school: In 4th and 5th grade I ""played baseball"" aka was shoved to the corner in left field and picked grass if that counts

I've bought a product off an informercial: Sure haven't

I've cried in a public place: Sure haven't. Obviously yes as a screaming whiny child like everyone, but I can't think of a single time from teenage years - present

I will buy candy to give out to children this year: Sure won't

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby: All of you!

I've seen someone die: Not quite but the man who threw himself in front of the train I was riding got wedged somewhere under my seat. Lovely

I still own something I had when I was a child: Plenty of things

I have been to a party in the last month: Sure have

I currently have a dating profile: Sure do

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity: LOU FERRIGNO! :muscles:

I played a sport in school - ya, played basketball, soccer, and football when I was younger. Nothing after middle school tho

I've bought a product off an informercial - naw

I've cried in a public place - can't remember any specific instances but I'm sure I did a few times as a kid

I will buy candy to give out to children this year - No.

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby - not rly? Though I guess you could count FE considering I've told very few people about it irl (:

I've seen someone die - I've visited some relatives on their deathbeds but wasn't in the room when they died

I still own something I had when I was a child - ya, I still have quite a few action figures/legos/stuffed animals stored away from my childhood

I have been to a party in the last month - ya a couple, most recently was a tailgate party

I currently have a dating profile - nah

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity - just a few mid-tier football autographs: Matt Hasselbeck, Michael Bennett (the former Viking RB, not the Seahawk DE), and Tom Newberry

I played a sport in school - I ran track in HS. Played the other sports at a younger age

I've bought a product off an informercial - Nope

I've cried in a public place - I've gotten clammy a couple times, at a wedding or the airport but never liked cried. Of course once I grew out of the scrape your knee and scream phase.

I will buy candy to give out to children this year - I will not.

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby - Besides FE, I am a big fan of Legos.

I've seen someone die - Never seen someone die no. Closest is at the Grand Canyon when someone fell off. Saw the fire trucks pull in as we left. Driven past a couple crashes that were probably fatalities.

I still own something I had when I was a child - i got a stuffed curious george that is pretty important to me. Other than that a couple knick knacks.

I have been to a party in the last month - nope.

I currently have a dating profile - nope.

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity - I had signatures from the Calgary Flames, couple of nuggets (Camby, Iverson, Martin) and I got a Jeff Probst signed buff.
"So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

- Never played a sport in school. I fully intended on trying out for football in 7th grade and practiced the summer before with my friends and Mr. C, but ultimately I chickened out and didn't attend try outs. I was way too small anyway and probably would have gotten massacred.

- I bought those wireless headphones that were on TV all the fucking time about 4-5 years ago. I have no idea why. They were awful and the company sent me like three of them for some reason and also charged me for all three.

- I don't recall ever crying in a very public place past toddler stage. I did get cheated on my birthday (which was already a very horrible day) during my lunch break years ago so I was visibly very upset when I came back to work, but I wasn't crying. That's probably the closest I've come.

- I hide in my house with my lights off on Halloween. Mercifully I work this Halloween so I will not deal with them.

- I have a few weird interests. And even though I do think it's a genuinely good show, the stigma attached to reality tv prevents me from telling people I watch Survivor when I'm asked what my favorite shows are.

- I saw a man on a jet ski die when I was like two or three years old. My mom was walking me down... I wanna say Montaulk or something. It was a boardwalk next to the beach. A man was jet skiing around the beach. I looked away for a moment and when I looked back, his jet ski was just zooming around with nobody on it. His body was floating near some rocks. Later found out he fell off and snapped his neck on them.

- I have my Super Nintendo, Playstation, N64, PS2 and Gamecube still along with all my games. Hardly any of them work since I took horrible care of my CD games so I really should just dump them. Also got a few binders of Pokemon cards.

- I have a few dating profiles. I'm really awkward so it's easier for me to meet girls on that medium as opposed to approaching someone and pulling spaghetti out of my pockets.

I played a sport in school - I played soccer for a long time!

I've bought a product off an informercial - Nope. Don't actually watch them.

I've cried in a public place - I weep openly multiple times a month. I cried in the middle of a Popeyes this weekend.

I will buy candy to give out to children this year - Nah. No kids are gonna be hustling me anyways.

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby - Maybe my D&D group but I'm not embarrassed.

I've seen someone die - I've seen someone flatline, if that counts.

I still own something I had when I was a child - Yes! I own multiple things but I'm also a lot younger than most people.
I have been to a party in the last month - nope.

I currently have a dating profile - I do! I have Tinder.

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity - I have one from some Dallas Cowboys football player.

I played a sport in school - Yes, soccer from elementary to MS/HS, to college, to now. Football in late elementary through middle school. Hated it, but I would have been much better in high school and college, I think

I've bought a product off an informercial - nope! Never trusted those things as tempted as I've been a few times

I've cried in a public place - Yes. Found out my closest friend died while at the airport. Years later, found out my closest friend died when I was at work at BWW. Cried in the back kitchen, gave my check out to my boss and told him to send me home

I will buy candy to give out to children this year - If I did, I would end up eating it all before any kids showed up

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby - Quite a few. Some of the games I play, the shows I'm into, pretty much my whole internet life (though quite a few people know and solidify why I keep it secret), and pokemon. I play competitively. But when I tell people there are cash prizes for tournaments, they usually become very interested

I've seen someone die - No, thank God. Never even seen a lifeless body. Plan to keep it that way.

I still own something I had when I was a child - Many things - stuffed animals, pictures, games. Also a lot I wish I would have held onto (N64, old Pokemon cards, Super Nintendo)

I have been to a party in the last month - I went to that Survivor thing in August. But I guess it's October now. I've been to various events, not necessarily parties

I currently have a dating profile - Only have ever downloaded them out of interest, but never used one seriously

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity - I typically take pictures as opposed to autographs. I've had a few sports autographs though from Nugget/Bronco players.

Maybe thinking in order to be normal you must have to/be able to pull spaghetti out of your pants is where the whole awkward thing stems from

AYE BRYCE SOCCER BUDDIES

I'm old enough that they didn't even have soccer in the schools I went to growing up until I was in 10th grade. I probably would have played if they had it earlier. I now relive my missed glory days by coaching girls youth soccer.

I've cried in a public place: One time, when I was a kid, I was at a grocery store with my parents. I remember throwing a tantrum because I wanted them to buy me a wrestling magazine and they wouldn't. I caused a bit of a scene but ended up getting what I wanted. :P

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby: Who doesn't? Mine is too embarrassing to say. haha Really, I can't even think of one specific thing right now, maybe crying to get wrestling magazines. I probably have a few.

I still own something I had when I was a child: I've still got some toys, cards, etc from when I was a child. I rarely throw things away. But I'm not a hoarder. One specific thing that comes to mind is an ALF doll.

I have been to a party in the last month: I come from a big family. There's always something happening.

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity: Quite a few from conventions. But my very favourite is a Batman (1966) dvd cover signed by Adam West, Burt Ward and Lee Meriwether. I also have a signed photo from Ms. Julie Newmar, who is one of the nicest celebrities I've met.

I played a sport in school - I ran track. I was a sprinter and long jumper. One meet senior year they had nobody running on the 440 high hurdles and so I said "Hey, this looks like it combines my jumping and sprinting into one thing." so I said I'd give it a shot, since I was pretty much guaranteed to place. I got out on the track when they said "Click them up for high hurdles" at which point those hurdles got a lot higher. I was already in my starting place, so I just said "Fuck it, I'll try." I hit the first hurdle and went down, fucking up my knee. I was out the rest of the season.

I've bought a product off an informercial - Nope. No snuggie thuggie cultist am I.

I've cried in a public place - Ex-GF made me do it. The bitch. lol.

I will buy candy to give out to children this year - Fuck yeah. And the leftovers go to work with me (my kids will have their own stash and so won't need this).

I have an embarrassing interest or hobby - Everything I do is embarrassing for a normal person. Every GLBer at one point or another stared and dots and yelled at them, some of us for upwards of 10 years. Not sure if this will be visible or not, but here is my geek room in our house, AKA "Auxiliary Control", which includes my Robotech/Anime toys, my multi-layered RPG shelves, my board game collection (including a ton of Avalon Hill), my comics display rack, my fiction shelf (mostly sci fi/fantasy/hooror books), etc.

I've seen someone die - Quite a few times, but the two most memorable: Sophomore year of undergrad, was heading down the escalator in the Foggy Bottom metro station, since my friend and I were heading down to Tracks for goth/Industrial night. At the bottom of the escalator, someone had fallen- those who know some of the Metro escalators know how steep and long some of these are. He must have slipped right before we entered the station, because a pool of blood was starting to come out from under him, just like they do in the movies. At that point he died- there wasn't anything we could do for him. So we left him there as the ambulance crew came from almost literally across the street (GW Hospital is right there) to take c are of him. The second one I was on K Street near my wife's office when I heard a huge screech of tires breaking. Looked up and there was a big white paneled delivery truck- the driver's door got flung open and the driver just ran and ran. I looked and saw a mangled bike behind the truck, then saw what was left of a person wrapped around the driveshaft and rear axle. Again- there was absolutely nothing we could do for them- they were already dead.

I still own something I had when I was a child - Tons of stuff, from my old Legos, quite a few comics and games, and the like. A lot of my core "collections" started from when I was a kid, whether it was RPGs or boardgames or the like.

I have been to a party in the last month - No, but I'm going to a Krampusnacht planning meeting on the 14th at DC Brau.

I currently have a dating profile - LOL no. I am loooooooong past dating. Luckily.

I've gotten an autograph from a celebrity - I have run into a lot of celebrities but have very few I have autographs of, since I didn't chase them much. The ones I mainly have autographs from are when I worked at Crown Books during latter undergrad years. We had a lot of people come through to sign stuff: Jay Leno, Patti LaBelle, Julia Child, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, Kevin Anderson, Tyra Banks (she signed a calendar- lol), Michael Crichton, a whole bunch of others. The only one I actually have a signed book from is Julia Child- baking with Julia. She was awesome.

Why do you have an MP40 by a window Vlady?
Do you want the cops to storm that room and see all your super-nerdy stuff?

Guess that answers the question of whether or not the pictures were visible.

It's actually an MP-40 BB gun I got at a military flea market in Aberdeen; I couldn't resist at the time.
