Spent $500 for hotel and tickets and drove 3.5 hours to see the Rangers get shutout in Columbus in November.
Heading to downtown to see them play the Penguins tonight after I got free tickets from a co-worker. I'd like to think the universe will even out and they'll unload a bunch of goals tonight...but I know better

Hockey games live are tons of fun. Been 7 years since I’ve been. |

Go Leafs Go!
So many records broken by this team, playoffs this year, I hate this new format, either be Boston or Tampa
Either way the more playoffs our young team plays the more experience we get, so if we lose first round I can't be disappointed against either team.

Final game of the season had playoff implications!
Avs knock off Blues and now they are in the playoffs. Crazy stuff. Looking forward to the hockey playoffs. Definitely my favorite of all the playoffs. Nothing is more intense than OT playoff hockey. I think that is pretty close to a generally accepted fact but most sports fans.
Rooting For: Flyers, Jets, Sharks
My favorite team is the Coyotes so I am just rooting for whatever. Have always liked Roenick and after he left Phoenix I started rooting for them. Jets because I'd like a Canadian team (sans Tor or Edm) to win. They are the only option this year. I've always been a fan of the Sharks. Liked Marleu, CheeChoo back in they day. Like Thorton and Burns now.
Rooting Against: Kings, Leafs (sorry Jeff), Vegas.
F the Kings. Second least favorite team behind the Blackhawks. Leafs, as I mentioned earlier don't like Toronto or Edmonton in terms of Canadian teams. Stems from growing up in Calgary and my dad being a big Canadiens fan. And Vegas because that fanbase is so freaking spoiled. The first year of a team and they are great. Thats not a good story, thats horse crap. True fans are made by cheering for a team that is not a great team, I couldn't stomach them winning in their first season.

Playoff Hockey is vastly superior to regular season hockey for me. I can hardly stand to watch regular season hockey, as it is slow and people seem to want to play for a tie.
Playoff hockey is probably the most exciting sporting tournament after the first weekend of March Madness (for me anyways).
I could care less for any of my local teams (especially the Stars -- fuck the Stars). GO WILD!!!

lol we're used the Leaf hate so it's okay
Today's game against Bruins and Panthers also have implications on first place. We either face Tampa or Bruins, not sure who I want us to face, Bruins are annoying and Tampa plays similar to us, either way will be a tense series.
Unlike other Leaf fans I'm also rooting for the Jets to go far on the west side, love what they've done to get there, Vegas vs Jets would be a great conference finals, but we'll see.

Can't believe we were down 2-0 then 3-1, and now series tied 3-3 heading to 7! Gonna be huge, hopefully redemption for 2013

All the Caps fans are celebrating like they just won the Stanley Cup. Pretty funny. |

Can't stay awake watching it on TV. I guess I like the blues since they are the one team I've seen live. (I guess 2, but the other was the blackhawks, and I think they stab you if you try to like both)

Once the Wild were eliminated, I stopped watching. Just too many other things going on right now.
Are they still in the second round? The NBA and NHL playoffs, just the playoffs, last as long as the entire freaking college football season.

Jets really need to get it together. This game 7 is so unnecessary and now they're probably going to lose.
