Good point Ahoda ... everyone not the Warriors should just sell their teams and quit.
:leos: |
You missed the point entirely. He wants to win so why would he resign with OKC? |

Nah man.
Win a ring? Where would he have to sign to do that? Only a handful of teams currently.
He's at a place now with good coach, great front office, he's the man, and they'll compete for playoffs for the foreseeable future, 2nd round most likely | |

And he will be known as Karl Malone and Charles Barkley and be put in the class as best to never win a ring. Not a distinction any great player wants. I hope he stays in OKC tbh, but I just don't see his motivation outside of money. |

My father was an abusive (physical and mental) alcoholic so I feel ya on the low bar. |

I don't think he can win in OKC. But I think the extra money combined with the whole face of the franchise and loyalty aspect could win him back. I wouldn't be shocked to see him leave though.
But ya BG and him would turn into the New Clippers | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Are you a Spurs fan?
They don't have the cap room to add him. They can best case get to $24 Mill open, and than means renouncing cap holds and exceptions. Losing Ginobili, Gasol, Mills, Dedmon, Simmons, etc.
Maybe if they trade Parker or Aldridge ... but Russ hasn't even been rumored to go there.
