nvm, NBC sucks, but I'm just using their live-streams for now. I'm wasting too much valuable time trying to find a non click-bait site. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

I'm streaming U.S. broadcasting cause I have a U.S. cable provider--BBC also has all the events on streaming if you have a VPN and can watch. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Ah, the NBC live-streaming is surprisingly good.
I've been watching Women's Individual Epee Fencing the majority of the morning, my favorite got knocked out right away though by the defending champion, which sucked!
My favorite was Shin A Lam, you should search her story from the 2012 Olympics - by far one of the most controversial and intriguing moments of those games.
Men's Team Archery is starting in a minute - with the quarter finals, I'll be watching that. The Netherlands (Which is my home-country btw Maddie - I don't think we've met, so I felt I had to say that incase you may have questioned by my favortism for the Dutch in this thread. :p), will be playing against the South Korean team, which is going to interesting considering that South Korea are the defending champions for 16 years now, it'd be a massive upset if Holland were to win. It'd be the equivalant of Lithuania beating Germany with all it's strongest present/former players with soccer. It just won't happen, haha.
But I'm excited though!
Watched a little bit of Brazil vs Canada with Men's Beach Volleyball, as well as South Korea vs Japan with Women's Indoor Volleyball, as well as Fiji vs USA with Women's Rugby (just to see Fiji destroy the US, muahaha)

Nice to meet you. :) I was just in Eindhoven for a water polo tournament two months ago! I love the Dutch. What events are you guys meant to place well in this year?
I'm watching the swimming prelims right now. My friend's sister-in-law just swam and placed second in the 100m fly overall. Swedish swimmer is already close to breaking the world record--she probably will at these games, I think.
I haven't watched anything but water sports yet, I should probably branch out... | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Interesting things I've seen today:
Men's team archery - Australia upset China for the bronze in a very close match, and South Korea didn't drop a single set all day in their quest for gold - even posting a perfect set in the gold medal match and getting 15 perfect 10s out of 18 total.
Women's soccer - Team USA won 1-0 against France despite getting discombobulated in their back line and allowing way too many shots on goal. Every time Hope Solo touched the ball, there were boos, and on every goal kick, the crowd yelled "ZIKA!" The comments she made about Zika didn't sound that bad by their description, or at least not enough to merit special treatment from the crowd, but I'm sure she phrased it in the worst way possible. That's just how she rolls.
Women's rugby sevens - There was precisely no one in the stands. 50% of the people watching were probably concession workers. Most of the scores were hilariously lopsided: 29-3, 31-5, 52-0, etc.
Men's gymnastics - Somebody twisted his ankle by something like 90 degrees. Gruesome.
Women's shooting - Team USA gets their first gold in the 10m air rifle! I may actually have to watch it back now.
Men's road cycling - Greg van Avermaet, a Belgian guy who consistently does very well in one day races but has never won one, finally came first when it mattered most. Team GB, which usually does very well in cycling and will still probably get half of the track cycling medals, nevertheless weeps. |

Regarding streaming: I cannot get the NBC website to work at all. Supposedly you have to log in, but I can't even find a log in button anywhere. Thank goodness the iPad app works! |

NBC during the Winter Olympics was soliddddd! I remember waking up early to watch some of the snowboarding races.
I imagine it's probably good here too. Unfortunately I don't get wifi at work so looks like my phone data bill is going to be high.... | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

I'm having a wonderful experience with NBC, surprisingly. I'm using Hola to access my AT&T cable provider and I'm able to watch whatever event I want from the UK. It's been awesome.
Hola usually works for me on the BBC from the U.S.--some of you could try that? | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |

Beach volleyball has a challenge system now! I would like it better if they had to throw a red beach towel. |

I just saw that video of that french gynamist breaking his leg on facebook. That is disgusting. Up there with Paul George and that one kid from Louisville's broken leg videos. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? Oh weird--I'll have to find a legit VPN service then. I guess it does make sense that they're shady--when they asked "Did this work?" There's a "No, fix it" option, so I suppose they just re-route you to someone else's IP. That's pretty shady. Maybe I'll try Zenmate instead as it's actually encrypted.
I just watched that road race cycling crash...PRETTY BAD LUCK for those guys who crashed whilst in medal contention.

Omg one of the BBC commentators just said "artistic gymnastics" but I thought she said "autistic gymnastics" and I spent like a whole minute feeling perplexed until I realized it was an accent thing. | "All this from a slice of gabagool?" |
