I'm just stocked that The Iron Islands plot is being included, I was pissed when I heard they didn't use it for seaso. 5. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

'Game of Thrones fansite Winter is Coming reports that sources close to the production revealed that Lady Stoneheart will appear in Game of Thrones Season 6, and she will be leading an army.'
I just died reading that!
Apparently it won't be the same actress, but someone who looks like her named: Soaud Faress. But considering Lady Stoneheart is so decomposed in the books, I can understand them getting away with having another actress to play that role considering Michelle Fairly has moved on. |

But am still pissed about how much season 5 deviated from the books. It's so dissapointing that the show makers dissapointed the book fans like that (who are essentially the most die-hard fans)

I believe they killed off half of the characters who are still alive in the books with season 5 and maybe even showing spoilers for whats to come in The Winds of Winter. And changed up the other half of the character's plots so much so that there's no returning now.
So ridiculous. No wonder peeps are saying s5 is by far the worst season. BAD decision by the show makers. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

lol it's not their fault GRRM hasn't released Winds of Winter yet. The show must go on
And as far as changing the character's plots, it's an adaptation. Unless they wanted to make a 10 season show with 20 hours per season, they were never gonna follow it completely. And even if they did, there's a lot of problems with converting one medium to another with no alterations which is why pretty much any good book-to-movie adaptation out there make at least some significant changes from the book. That's not to say that I've agreed with some things they've cut/truncated/altered, but it comes along with the territory really. I'm hoping now that they breezed through AFFC/ADWD that they'll let things breathe a bit more this season, but we'll see | |

Essie Davis was cast as a PARTICULARLY intriguing character...
|
Catelyn Tully aka Lady Stoneheart! |
It fits in well with Ian McShane's role in the series!!

isn't that just speculation at this point? |
I would hate if they cast a different actress. People wouldn't even realize who it was until someone said "FORMERLY CATELYN TULLY" or whatever, which would ruin the twist's effectiveness |

I thought it was real considering that name is under Essie Davis' name on IMDb.
And hasn't Watchers on the Wall confirmed we will be seeing her (the character) in season 6? And that she'll be leading an army. I remember reading that on there.
