I thought it was fun, and silly.
Better than Iron Man 2 and 3.

Iron Man 3 is the best, it's got the strongest self-contained story and before Ant-Man it had some of the most original and exciting action scenes in the series. It's also really funny, and the humor actually serves the themes of the movie, where most Marvel movies just keep the jokes coming because what else are you gonna do | | |

Really liked the miniature scenes, especially the Tank Engine scene and the subatomic one. I think the movie could've used even more of those
I think Hank Pym should've died. Maybe not in that way, but what more is there to his story anymore? It would've been a pretty powerful, character-shaping moment. Kinda like an Uncle Ben death
Corey Stoll was kinda wasted. He did well with the little he was given but it was such a generic villain. Kinda like a lesser version of Jeff Bridges' villain in Iron Man
Surprisingly, Hope was one of my favorite characters in the movie. I liked her just about as much as Scott, and actually got pretty excited about the mid-credit scene reveal
The Pena narration scenes were good. Probably the funniest parts of the movie |
