They skipped Memorial Day Sunday last year as well. After the Blackwater episode ended up being the lowest rated of Season 2, they didn't want that to happen again.
All the conversations with Tyrion in his cell were so great. Especially the one with Jaime. Kinda crazy how few scenes they've actually had together considering it's one of the more important relationships of the show. I hope we get a lot more scenes with them now that they're in the same place
That whole ending in the Eyrie was good too. I really liked the set for that outdoor scene. And I'm actually starting to like Littlefinger now! Even if he did make out with Sansa straight after saying how she should've been his daughter (:
Also as much as I love watching Arya/Hound, I'm starting to get a LITTLE bored with it! It's getting a bit repetitive now. It was nice seeing them bond at least. I wish Brienne was heading their way instead of towards the Eyrie. I think that would've been really interesting. And then Brienne could deliver Hot Pie's wolf bread!! Still should be interesting to see her try to free Sansa from Littlefinger's clutches though
My only problem with the new Mountain is he's so young. He doesn't look like the Hound's older brother really. I think the first one was the perfect combination of age/meanness/size. This one's definitely a million times better than the second one though
Lysa not spilling her guts about the Littlefinger reveal at this point in time rather than earlier in the season. The show loves to go for shock value, yet broke up these two shocking scenes.
Loved Oberyn/Tyrion and his quest to take revenge on anyone who killed Elia.
