I'm picking this back up and making Cart join
I only ended up watching the first two episodes back when I started. I liked them a lot but kinda just forgot to continue. Probably because I had to stream it on my laptop and I hate keeping up with shows that way
It's on Netflix now though. Way more convenient. I decided to rewatch the first two episodes just to reintroduce myself to it. Watched the first one again just now

| One thing that I find intriguing is that the deceased don't seem to notice that others have aged around them? I don't think Camille was really reacting to Lena being much older now, and the old man's wife didn't react at all that he was old as fuck now. I don't quite understand that but it's interesting to me |

The shovel slap fight was hilarious
So that one lady is the one that got stabbed 7 years earlier? INTERESTING. Two zombies under one roof
I thought this episode was a little weaker than the first one. The first had such an amazing creepy atmosphere that I don't think was really replicated here. Though I guess it makes sense since you can't really play up the SPOOKY GHOSTS angle forever when the characters have already been established

I'm definitely glad I rewatched these two. I seemed to had forgotten a lot of the details from this one
Cart I never even considered that the nurse (Julie?) had returned as well. I figured she was the victim from years ago but survived like this waitress did. That's a really cool thot though. I hope that's the case
This episode introduced some of the really cool concepts you can do with this show. The serial killer coming back years later and continuing his spree. Simon being listed as dead and the new fiance not knowing wtf the deal is with that. Lena not being recognized by someone who used to be her age. ETC ETC
I wonder why Lean tore up her sister's room
I wonder why that wolf came back alive
I wonder why the water level keeps dropping
And I'm curious to see how the serial killer/Simon/Victor died. There's quite a few things I'm excited to get answers for already
The atmosphere definitely changed but that's because this one took place during the day. First episode was all in one night, this was the next morning. Only makes sense I suppose. The great music definitely helps keep that vibe though |

Why the fuck would Adele kiss Simon in full view of the cameras when her husband works in some kind of monitoring station. DUMB!
The actress who plays Lena is really good
I still don't think the ATMOSPHERE of the first episode has really been recaptured since but meh |

Fucking HATED the neighbor lady. That was a cool moment. I wonder why Victor is so drawn to Julie and how he died. Could he be her son? Was she pregnant when she was stabbed and that's how he died?? That'd be tragic. Makes no sense though because he's way older. There's clearly some piece missing there
The fiance must be confused as SHIT! First he's confused that Simon is still alive, then he sees Simon and Adele making out in his backyard. He must assume Simon has been alive this entire time and they're having some sort of bizarre affair. What a weird situation. It's those situations that make the show really
And yeah the actress who plays Lena is "good" ;)))))). Srsly though she's so hot |

Some really cool revelations in this one
Victor's death was so sad. Made me like him quite a bit more this episode. I really don't get his story. That was about...30 years ago I think? I don't know why he appeared when Camille died. Has he just been wandering?
One of the sweet revelations was finding out the neighbor killed herself. So can Victor force people to do that? He has some POWERS or something? Who the hell knows
I really felt like the 'nice' murderer seemed like a young Piere. That repeated line towards the end was so great though. The way the music built as he said it, great stuff. The timing was cool too because we just learned that Victor made the neighbor kill herself, so I really felt like he was gonna do something to Piere all of a sudden. They also set Piere up to be kwuite the dick earlier when he played Jerome and Clair against each other
The thing on Lena's back is disgusting. Camille needs to CHILL with this Frederic fella! JUST STAY AT HOME CAMILLE, IT'S BEEN LIKE TWO DAYS! And now Lena's in trouble with the serial killer o men o men
There was also the revelation that Simon...killed himself? Or was murdered? Probably killed himself
Each of these character twists really keeps me interested for the next episode |

LENA YOU BETTER NOT BE DEAD. I doubt she is tho. And that wound on her back really is disgusting. Why would she choose THAT TUNNEL for her way back of all the places! You'd think people would learn to avoid that tunnel by now! And did Camille really not even bother to help her POTENTIALLY DYING sister back to the hospital? I know they're at odds right now but STILL!
I also don't know why Lena can't just bring a photograph of Camille to show Frederic. There's no way her cousin would look THAT identical. And even beyond that how does Frederic NOT remember what Lena/Camille used to look like, considering how close he was with them? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me
Victor is just getting creepier and creepier. I'm really curious what he did to make that lady kill herself
And I'm ASSUMING Simon's heaven story was just something to comfort his daughter right? (: I was pretty worried for a second |

BOI O BOI things are getting interesting!
First off, we got some naked Lena this episode. So that was nice.
That ending was weird. Was that some kind of cult? LENA GET OUTTA THERE! She just can't catch a break! ://
What the fuck was Toni doing. Why is he risking his life to save his SK brother now? And does he really think shooting a police is gonna solve anything? They're just gonna come back in greater numbers. Unless the brothers are leaving now, but if so why wouldn't they just do that in the first place?
I think Julie's my favorite character. I loved that shot at the police chick's house where you suddenly see Julie with the nerdy glasses and Victor chomping into a banana. Speaking of which, what was with that last scene with Victor? Is he gonna KILL that girl? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT VIC
So many things going on in that ending. It definitely feels like it's building towards something but...WHAT! The water in the coffin was interesting. There's gotta be some connection between that and the dam water...but WHAT!!!
Also that reveal of the couple hanging themselves based on Camille's word...DAMN! |

...how did Lena so suddenly end up back at home? That was really weird editing. Who were those people then? Is that supposed to be a mystery...? They didn't allude to it at all after that so I'm not sure. Were those the army of the dead that we saw near the end?
Shit got weird near the end. I still have no idea what this is all building towards. If this ends up just being a cliche zombie outbreak it'll be (: . But I doubt it's gonna be that simple
Also the make-up they're using for the zombies is really good, but so fucking gross. Especially Simon's. WHY WOULD YOU EAT THAT? |
