I lost a lot of interest when Guillermo Del Toro had to drop out. Instead of something potentially different we're just gonna get LotR 4 and 5. Not a bad thing, but I was excited to see what del Toro would have brought to the world since visually his style is unique.

sorta this. Del Toro's middle-earth would've been really interesting. I heard they at least kept a few of his script revisions and character designs though

It would've been interesting to see Del Toro's, but I'm extremely happy that Jackson's doing it instead tbh. I wouldn't have really wanted it any other way

I'd rather see someone new tackle the material so we get something fresh! And to see PJ use his talents on a new world. I just feel like it'll be more of the same when there was a great opportunity for something different and more interesting. I mean the Trilogy was great but I think it works so well on it's own, and these two movies had potential to work well on their own as well. Now i think it'll just seem like the same entity.

lol who cares? They probably don't have the movie's score ready so they used that because it fit the tone of the teaser.

I cared because it pretty much just reminded me of gandalf's death. Not got me hyped for supermans. Are scores really that hard to make for a minute long trailer when youre a million dollar company?

lol when I was in the theater I immediately recognized the music and was WUT. But then I liked the trailer and it fit it well so I didn't care. Made it good!
