I'm currently working as a cemetery groundskeeper. It's a job that sounds a hell of a lot more interesting than it actually is. I do a lot of weed-whacking and drive an industrial mower, but occasionally trim branches, cut hedges, and on a few bizarre occasions, have been literally required to dance on top of people's graves.
However, my supervisor has Tourette's, and is known to show up at random intervals and royally bitch us out for such nefarious infractions as getting bug spray, using the bathroom at a time he has not approved, and, evil of all evils, using headphones that he himself were told we were allowed to use. He's also instituted a new policy that if we are one minute late for work, we pick up a day's suspension and will be reported to the church management.
I'm busily handing out applications to other places, because I didn't sign up for a Nazi regime, tyvm. |

That sounds pretty unpleasant. It must be nice working outdoors in the summer but that sounds about the only nice part of it.

He's also a racist who spends every break telling 'jokes' about minorities, so literally the only difference between us and Auschwitz is that the summer heat is a few degrees cooler than the ovens.
I privately refer to him as a "preferred customer," which means that I'd much prefer to see him as a customer. If you get my drift.

I am a part time bartender and musician.
Just recently cancelled my re application to university to dedicate all my efforts to music. Its a pain in the ass to find people who are all 100% committed, but I will keep trying. An old band I was in have recently got in contact with me about a one off gig at a festival. I hope to find other like minded people there for a new band.

I have a graphic design paid internship / possibly job lined up in New York for down the road |
When I read this I immediately imagined a classy high rise building complex like the one in mad men.
Are you going to be Don Drapers ginger alter ego?

Well I finished my first year in software engineering this May. Aiming at getting a masters degree in engineering. We take all the math + physic courses the other engineering departments take, which I think is different from what its like in the US / UK. Maybe someone can elaborate (Boc?).
Currently have a summer job at Icelands biggest phone company working in their software department, which is a lot of fun and im learning tons of shit

Nah that's pretty much how it is here. The software engineering major actually has to take MORE math here than the other engineering majors. The only big thing that's different from SE and the other engineering majors course-wise is we don't have to take Chemistry. Which I'm VERY HEPPY about because I fucking loathe Chemistry

Software engineering...damn.
I did computer science for 2 months and I even found that too hard.
Anything which involves maths + physics = stupidly hard subject.

This one time in chemistry I accidentally burned some potassium, everything luckily turned out OK.

Aside from that I'm a medic. | I used to travel the universe, but settled for parks.

I'm currently working for Reykjavík, telling kids to whack weed and such while I chill or sometimes help them.
Just finished my first year in Computer Science, Ari's dad didn't fix me a job though :<

Much to my kids surprise, even though I am not currently working, I am still infact a nurse. ;) | A lesson without pain is meaningless. That's because no one can gain without sacrificing something. But by enduring that pain and overcoming it, he shall obtain a powerful, unmatched heart. A fullmetal heart. |
