I have had a job that I liked
I currently work as an intern at my church for youth ministry with high school students. Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook can obviously tell I enjoy what I do. I get to go crazy with high schoolers and lead them in life. I love it!
I also like my delivery job a lot too. Easy, surprisingly good money, and I drive everywhere and listen to music.
I've been on TV
Yes, actually. I tried out for a tv show when I was 15, it was like a teenager version of Survivor called endurance. I made it all the way to top 20 and then I was put up against 2 other guys for the last spot for people to vote on who they would want to be on the show that season. Part of my video was put on tv...it was actually kind of cool. BUT, I lost by a small margin which sucked...anyways...
I consider myself a good cook
Not really. I can follow directions very well, though I check multiple times for each step because I want to make sure I have it right, but like Boc, I usually just pop things in the microwave because I'm lazy and usually it tastes just as good. I make great ramen, fyi.
I've left my country before
Yes I have. I went to Mexico for a mission trip when I was a freshman in high school. On our way back, I got the rare treat of pushing our bus over the border so..only a few Mexicans can say that they have run across the Mexican/US border and me. =D
Also I went on a cruise to the Bahamas once. I know that isn't technically out of the country, but it's in a different type of land and I like to count it to feel more accomplished.
I've set something on fire by accident
No, but I've DEFINITELY set things on fire on purpose. I'm a type of pyro and I love lighting things on fire and have done many things in my life...one time very dangerously.
I had a Myspace
Yes I did and I was VERY into it actually. I loved the page customization and I was actually really good with coding and stuff and always made my page really cool looking...that's embarrassing to admit I suppose. I was troubled by the Facebook switch when it happened, but I've adjusted...though I still wish for more customization. =P
I have a scar story
I have 3 major ones I can think of.
With my church I went to Moab and went biking a couple years ago. I didn't have a bike so I borrowed a friend. He told me some things about it and like something was wrong but I don't think I paid enough attention and forgot when I got out there. Anyways, it was something with the chain and it kept locking up all day which was more than a bit frustrating. Anyways, my friends and I blasted down this one hill and when I hit the bottom to start pedaling, the chain lock and fell off and my feet slipped off of the pedals and one pedal ran up my whole shin taking a big chunk out of my leg. I had to wrap it for a few weeks after that. The other pedal ran down the back of my leg, but the scar there isn't as significant.
The other scar is on my face below my left eye. I was on one of those back stretcher things where you lock your legs in and lay back and it turns you upside down and is supposed to stretch you out or something. Well, I locked my legs in and when I flipped upside down, the actual foot lock itself wasn't connected to the actual stretcher. I fell off the back upside down and landed on my back luckily but looked up to see the metal thing my feet was strapped into was coming straight at me and it hit me right below the eye. The whole thing was completely metal and I was lucky to leave with a small scar; I could have done a lot worse if it hit a little farther in any direction.
LASTLY, I have a decent scar on my bottom lip on the left side. When I was 3 I went to the dentist and got my mouth numb for either a baby root canal or cavities, I can't remember. Anyways, my mouth was super numb and I was biting my lip. Long story short, I bit clean through my lip and my mom looked back in the car ad freaked at blood pouring down my chin. I had no idea, I was just chewing away! So...there is a scar on my lip that I don't think anyone has ever noticed until I mention it.
I've had to call the police before
Not that I'm aware of. I'm sure I called when I was a kid though.
I've bought a house or rented an apartment
Nope. I live with my parents still at 21 and I'm completely fine with it. I basically have my own house or apartment because I live in the basement and it's huge and it's FREE!!!! And home cooked meals. I could go on for a while.
I've saved someone's life
I'm saying yes, but not in the way the question is probably meant and I mean it in a spiritual sense. I won't go into detail because I know how some view this, but I've definitely had a few shares of this and it's an amazing feeling. | |

I have had a job that I liked
- Nope!
I've been on TV
- I've waved in the background of a fox news broadcast back when they used to have windows behind the anchors in NYC. I can't think of any other times but I feel like I might have been on local news once.
I consider myself a good cook
-EH! I'm decent. I don't like when food is too over/well done, so I have a bad habit of over-correcting.
I've left my country before
-Canada and Bermuda. Not in a long time tho!
I've set something on fire by accident
-I actually don't think I have! I've always been really cautious of fire because I burned my hand when I was pretty young so FIRE=HURT was always heavily ingrained in my skull over since.
I had a Myspace
-Never. I thought they were stupid.
I have a scar story
-Uh, not really! None of my cool stories seem to have scars and none of my scars have cool stories. I have a dotted line scar on my wrist that looks like someone shoved a serrated knife against it or something, and I've had that as long as I can remember, but I have no idea how it got there.
I've had to call the police before
- Family member had a psychotic break when the doctors changed their meds and they were staying over. Cops and medics both came.
I've bought a house or rented an apartment
Nope!
I've saved someone's life
-Probably! My family is stubbornly against calling 911 in a lot of situations, so I'm always the one who's had to make those calls.
Fun semi-related fact: the only time I was ever grounded as a teenager was for calling 911 on my friend's boyfriend when he was threatening to overdose on pills to her and she called my asking for help. It wasn't my problem, so I shouldn't have gotten involved! (: | d ( i n o s r o a ) r

I have had a job that I liked
I worked at Aaron's when I was doing SOS jobs and I actually really enjoyed it. Did deliveries and hook-ups for customers. The driver I worked with was cool as shit. And I don't actually mind Wally World at all. I don't like where I'm at now (mostly due to who I work with than anything else), but I loved it when I was in Pets.
I've been on TV
My name was mentioned on it once (and for all the wrong reasons, at that) but I never was physically.
I consider myself a good cook
I am a terrible cook.
I've left my country before
Nope.
I've set something on fire by accident
Yup. Kept something by a candle once... think it was a piece of paper or something. Noticed right away and just swiped it in the sink.
I had a Myspace
I had a Myspace before anyone knew what the fuck Myspace was. I didn't see the point in it and then after I stopped using it, people were like "HEY WHAT'S YOUR MYSPACE LOL" out of the blue. Deleted it shortly afterwards.
I have a scar story
I have a lot of scar stories. Stabbed myself in the wrist with a box cutter when opening a package. Got a surgery scar on my left knee to remove a tumor. Got a Rottweiler tooth shaped hole mark on my right foot. Thought it'd be a great idea to punt my Rottie's squeaky toy around and she tried to catch it while it on my foot... that hurt like a motherfucker. Got a scar on my chin, which is hidden under the goofy goat hair I grow down there. Some dude punched me in the stomach in 6th grade and passed out jaw first onto the floor.
I've had to call the police before
No.
I've bought a house or rented an apartment
Unfortunately no, went from living with my mom in NY to living with my old man in UT. Plan to when I'm a little bit more financially secure. The only cheap places to live around here are infested with meth heads.
I've saved someone's life
No. |
I've had to call the police before
Yes.
I've bought a house or rented an apartment
Yes. |
