I’m lowkey enjoying Finch. Getting a lot of use out of the lists. I’ve got a good mix of daily repeating things that I’m trying to form better habits around + specific one time things that I have to get done on that day. Still with the game/adventure part was more involved somehow, but at least I can focus on collecting the right furniture to make my place look like a hobbit hole (:

Also the app is designed well. It’s pleasant

Huge news for the Squash-heads. It’s been 7 days so Squash is now a toddler, I hatched a new Pom-Pom companion named Poof, and we’re heading to Hawaii, goodbye Finchie Forest

Also 7 days in and I’m gonna keep things going. Productivity is UP! I must admit

Anyway I've been trying out Finch and enjoying it so far! I've been using it as a way to gameify doing some organizational work in my house mostly. When my parents moved in after my grandma died we ended up with two households' worth of stuff to organize, put away, go through, sell, shred, etc, and when my aunt moved and we took some of her stuff she couldnt sell, so things have been a huge mess! And its easy to just put off progress until I can devote a whole day to it. So I've been using the app as a way to do some bite sized daily progress instead. Surprisingly helpful!

It's definitely nice for bite sized progress. I also just discovered the feature to keep a goal until it's completed which is very helpful, I like the shameful reminder every day that I haven't done something yet and it feels good to clear it when I do

I like tying a micropet egg to a task that's not a given each day, like rn I have it tied to reading my book so I've been making sure to prioritize that. Cause I gotta see who's in this DAMN egg!

I can’t believe my lovely Hobbit-hole birdhouse was on private this whole time

Tragedy has struck. Early on I bought a green nomad shirt that perfectly matched the hobbit look I was going for. This morning it was unequipped for some reason, and while half awake I went to equip it and accidentally sold it :(

Now I have to wait for it to pop up in the shop for me again. Gonna have to get lucky. I will not rest until Green Nomad Robes are mine again

Also, I’ve been sick this week but thanks to Finch the grind didn’t stop. Helped force me to get out of bed at times to do certain things, so that was nice
