ALRIGHT! We're gonna do this one:
Option A: Whenever someone on your team is eliminated, you get points for their finishing position. First boot = 18 points. Winner = 1 point. Team with the lowest points at the end of the season wins
Again, unless someone has a better idea but I figure we should make this fairly straightforward

It's draft time!
Each player will be drafting a team of three. Once you pick, you're locked in and that's your team for the season. No picks can be made once the first episode airs.
There are 18 players this season and 11 or 12 of us. Each player can only be picked TWICE. If 12 of us play this, then that'll be perfect. Once you see that a player has been picked twice, try to make sure you don't pick them or you'll have to change
Once you make a pick, you have to wait until one other person picks before choosing again. If you're the last to go then you might have your picks defaulted, so be quick about it! Also you cannot have the exact same team as someone else
