Watching Brie "evolve" was really fun. Wish I would have gotten to spend some non-crazy time with Klaus prior to my proverbial wheels falling off.

I will admit, compared to anything I accomplished with Lab3, Klaus was just me pretending I couldn't draw.
I think that was the thing with Lab2... there was no where near the complexity when it came to characters... or maybe that was just me. And since I wasn't a silly character I wasn't as gripping in the mind. I tried my best, near the end I got bored of my really inactive team and wanted to have a solo adventure! In retrospect that would have been dumb, but near the end of the game where you aren't sure what to do you try silly things.
It's also the only time I semi fooled boc, at least partially. He knew deep down it was me but I was throwing curve balls that made him think I was henry.

I think the thing with the Lab 2 characters is most people didn't SET OUT to make them as complex as all the characters in Lab 3. What defined most of the Lab 2 characters was the journeys they all took rather than their backstories...because most of them didn't really have any! Niney's gradual descent into madness, the Red King, the twins' journey, Patterson/Wikey meet up etc, all were great character moments that happened kinda organically as part of the game rather than being deliberate character choices. Not necessarily better or worse, but certainly different

Very true. I think there were a lot of organic choices in Lab3 but yeah it was interesting seeing where characters went and developed in Lab2 when a lot of them started with nothing setting them apart from their real selves other than face and name.

I vaguely remember us talking about splitting from the group, Mal. It was either you or Malarkey. I don't remember our goal. I think it was right after we found the Flower of Lies (formerly the Flower of Hope) while backtracking the Trail of Tears (formerly Over There.)
Splitting from a group always seems like it will lead to a grand adventure. I was surprised how long Tyrese survived on his own, even with the cache he found.
