Dyl - 4. The cake looks relatively tasty, if not for the cherry falling off the cake. It might suggest it's a little bit out of shape?

I hate that I have to lock in the hardest one. This has a pretty tough range but it's definitely meant to be on the creepy side. Theres a lot of creepier things that could be said and personally I would probably have abandoned any semblance of the phrase being a pickup line at 10 and not any sooner. This is still a pickup line and a little sauve at that depending on who is saying it. I'm running into the problem of that meme where the two guys in the office say the same thing to the lady but the ugly one gets sent to HR. My guess is that this was meant to be very creepy. this is the widest range for me. The prompt is tough because even 10 isn't just *lizard*, it's hey thats a guy that looks a lot like a lizard. So on the scale between human and lizard he's roughly a 6 but on the scale between guy who looks like a guy and guy who looks like a lizard hes closer to a 10. This one is about how we think herm interpreted the prompt.

I think this is a perfect example of beginning at dead center and taking exactly 1 step negative by adding "at work". I'd be surprised if this wasn't 6 but could be talked into 5.

this is what our averages are. If you gave multiple ranges I tried to pick the middle.

I believe this is actually a proven and tested method of estimating accurately. Although perhaps they used a bigger sample than 7 people

Hello. I'm going to rate everything before reading this thread so I'm not swayed by anything.

Dyl - 2? A very delicious looking cake. I don't understand the falling cherry. Unless it's just to show there are a LOT of cherries. I dunno. Cake is universally regarded as very tasty.

Steph - 6. An old sock under the bed is innocent enough. Moving around is creepy but not necessarily alarming as a literal creature under the bed.

Boc - Solid 5. It's literally a milk carton monster!

Herm - 9. This is a lizard easily mistaken for a human.

Spin - Uh.... 4? This is all perspective. A regular day at work is fine for me. I'd rather be off obviously. But nothing bad happening leads to usually a pretty good day. Which puts it at more good than not.

Rodney - Uh.... 7? Pretty alarming situation but there's definitely more extreme out there.

I'm not opposed to raising Boc's but I think the higher answers are wrong. The entire milk carton is still intact so I definitely think it's more towards the middle. This drawing reminds me a lot of the wizard/guitar example picture.

Maybe a 6 or maaaaybe a 7 but nothing higher.

Yeah, I totally agree with the Boc reanaylsis. There’s clear milk carton there but prob more monster than carton? Still, a clear hybrid.
