Ep 8
|
Oh yay it was Arie. The scene of him walking in and revealing himself to the other two was great
lolyikes Christian. How do you not consult with your teammates before doing that. Also the faithful would’ve just assumed Arie was attacked and saved himself, they never would’ve seen a recruit coming. Now it’s in their head that it’s a possibility
How did Andie not realize that Cirie spilled to Rachel, Rachel made it so obvious. I thought it’d put Cirie in hot water
This was my first time watching Rachel in anything. Meh! See ya. Would’ve rather her beat out Kate though

Ep 9

They’re betraying Christian this ep, 100%
Endgame is a bit weird since it’s tied 3-3 right now and the pressure is off. Cirie is obviously winning it, hopefully with Arie

Hurry up and come back to Australian Survivor. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Finale

lollll get rekt Christian. What a brutal betrayal, that was hilariously unnecessary. They did it just to have a larger cut of the money since they already have it wrapped up, that’s so funny and must feel brutal for Christian. A much different type of betrayal than a regular old Survivor betrayal since he had a cut guaranteed and had put the work in this whole time to get there. Wonderfully ruthless
Pretty dumb to have them just win the money back, no stakes! The missions/money angle was ultimately useless, they should’ve just been competing for safety each mission
I thought Andi was gonna be a dangerous player at the start but they’ve just been putty for Cirie for ages now. Although who hasn’t really
Later Kate, about time. I wish she left ages ago
Ohh it’s gonna end like The Thing game where you can choose to boot people off the heli before calling it a game, fun
Also I’m just realizing they weren’t told there were three Faithfuls at the start. I guess?? I was under the impression they knew there were three, but now at end game they’re saying they believe there’s no traitors left, but have only banished two
Holy shit lol. Cirie decides to betray Arie for all the money and Arie decides to banish himself and give it all to Cirie. That’s so wild. Andi and Quentin celebrating assuming that Cirie saved them. They’re about to be fucking cruuuuushed
aaand they were! Props to Cirie, she crushed it and made some tough choices. I wish they had the other players all back so we could get a reaction to Cirie’s reveal
Fun dumb show, a nice quick watch. Definitely some things I wish were changed with the format but it was overall fine. The biggest shock of the season was definitely Arie deciding to just bow out knowing that Cirie was about to argue with him and try to send him out. I feel like there was some shit there that we didn’t see for sure, something doesn’t quite add up with that.

Ep 5
|
Will the players ever realize that the two candidates for murder are the last two at dinner lol. It’s so obvious that production would do that from a tv standpoint
RIP goofy Ryan
The challenge was silly, there’s no real reason to split them into two groups and have the groups compete against each other, the money going into the pot is exactly the same. There should’ve been exemptions for banishing or murdering on the line for the winning group
RIP Amanda whoever you are
Can’t believe they banished Kyle. Only faithfuls to come close were Kyle and Brandi and both are already banished. Faithfuls are gonna get smoked in the end
Cody telling Kyle that was so dumb, he tried to do too much. He was so visibly uncomfortable all ep. I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves soon
The knock at the end is so intriguing. Either a fourth undercover Traitor or just Alan. A fourth one would be so OP but it’d be really fun. Like a whole episode recapping these first five eps from the hidden traitors POV and how they helped keep heat off of the other three, I would love that

Kate is crazy. She made me crack up when she said "f you" to Steph at the roundtable. I'm loving the Kate vs. Rachel thing. Poor Rachel, every reality show she goes on people find her annoying. Cody is so suss so yeah he's probably toast soon. I'm glad Kyle is gone because I'm rooting for the traitors lols Queen Cirie
I do like that the episodes aren't as long compared to uk/au |

Ep 6

Christian is so bad. It’s funny watching this from a ~seasoned mafia player 💅🏻~ pov because literally everything Christian does is classic scum behavior that we’ve all done here. When the three were put on trial he’s immediately like “WELL JUST SAYIN ONE OF THEM COULD STILL BE TRAITOR WE CANT RULE IT OUT!”. Cmon bro, let someone else bring that up. Also we saw at least two times him argue that the vote should stay between the two distractions of that ep, Michael or Blank. The way he argued was classic scum. Pretty sure he even said let’s just get the distraction out of the way so we can focus on actually finding a traitor - scum slip!
This trial thing is dumb. The knock on the door cliffhanger was a letdown
Kate is so fucking annoying during this challenge. She’s the worst reality contestant I’ve seen in a long time

Christian reminds me of DL .. or DJ... or whatever that guy's name was that would always try to just make "big moves" to be noticed. |

Ep 7

RIP Cody, man was BUGGIN! His slow and steady meltdown was interesting to watch, he clearly wasn’t built for that role lol, my god
Easy decision by Cirie and Christian to cut him at that point. They gotta snipe Rachel now
aaaand they didn’t! Weird, Rachel and Cody were all in on each other, now Rachel should look Faithful I would think
Angelica is no big loss at all, she started to get annoying
They should push Arie as Traitor since he had the shield but the traitors still risked the 50/50, if Arie was traitor then they would know there was no risk at all. Wonder if that’ll be brought up
I like Quentin, smart and well spoken and wrong about literally everything so far
Why is it a huge deal that Cirie said she wanted to be a traitor coming into the game. I’m sure quite a few people said that. Unless they think the producers would wanna pick someone who wanted to be a traitor I guess
Shelby was pretty boring, see ya. The newbie casting (or editing) is pretty bad overall. Which is unfortunate because I’d rather a season of 20 newbies than celebs
Jeeeeze a Traitor invitation. This late in the game, that’s kinda BS…also kinda fun. I like that they can deny at least. Feels like a cheap way for producers to keep numbers closer so they can stretch the show to 10 episodes tbh. I’d prefer it if one player was secretly a hidden traitor and the other traitors didn’t know who like I mentioned a few posts back
I hope the pick Arie

Yeah Cody sucks, no surprise. It's Anjelica (I think). Her crying was cringe but it also reminded me of crying when mafia kills Herm. (: It's Shelbe. |

I can't add much that Curtis didn't already say but I enjoyed this. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Cirie so super happy she won. I'm glad she cut Arie.. f him lol. Rachel was cringe (as usual). Cody is over-rated (as usual). Glad the Brandi/Kate thing was broken up early but agree that I would've liked that Brandi stayed over Kate.
I think they should ditch the "missions" to add to the pot since they obviously just decided to give it all back to them easily. I agreed with Dalton Ross's assessment that the missions should be for immunity. I did like that the traitors didn't necessarily know who had immunity. It's kind of like a bullet-proof vest so they take a shot and may miss... random.
Overall good show. Feel-good win. Too many fucking commercials on Peacock. |

I just finished and

It's always hard to watch when people get backstabbed. That was so sad but I'm happy Cirie won.
I was shook that Rachel turned into her bratty self during her banishment. Even tho Kate annoyed me a lot, overall she was funny. |

It’s okay. 3 episodes in. I have trouble really caring about the challenges.

Rooting for Cirie (obvi) and Cody because I saw him at the grocery store. |

Rest of the episodes
|
My boy Cody crumbled under pressure. Christian was brutal it was pretty good watching him get cut out by the traitors, especially considering it was 100% out of greed.
I really grew to like Kate. Once she realized she had a chance to win she was much better. Her one liner on Rachel about her honeymoon was funny.
That last episode was absolutely brutal though. Cirie just hustling Arie was masterful. Kind of annoying that Arie removed himself, instead of just letting it play out naturally, which it would have. Definitely laid the ground for the incredibly emotional and awkward reveal at the end. Absolutely brutal.
Feel like the faithfuls had no chance though. There was never really anything to go off of. The armory was a little help but not really. Would have been interesting how it played out if Arie never got recruited. Maybe similarly with how tight those final 3 were.
Cool show. Felt the missions were pretty dumb especially with how they got the money back at the end. But I guess they need something to fill the time. |
