Whoops! I forgot about that. Yeah, you should have died when he was lynched, meaning you wouldn’t have killed Herm on N4. Not that it would have changed the outcome of the game, since Lamps had a cop scan of Herm, so he would have been lynched anyways.

I was unkillable James Bond so no, I wouldn't have died. |

Some final thoughts about the game.
This was a concept I wanted to try, and thought it might work well for a smaller game (thinking 9-12), so I decided to do it. Then we got a late rush of signups, and at that point I was committed, so I ran with it. I tried to go through and think of a role action for each major character that an actor played in action movies in the 90s, but some of them were in way too many movies (JCVD and Wesley Snipes, for example).
I didn't even really try to think about balance of roles or actions, as it would be near impossible to do that with the randomness of the dice. After I randomized the alignments, I went back in and modified some of the mafia actions to be more mafia-focused, and this is where I probably screwed up, as they didn't have much to claim. If I were to do this again, I would give them all similar actions to town but have the factional kill be in addition to any of their regular actions.
I also did not intend to send out everybody's full roll information (what rolls = what characters) initially, but forgot until I was halfway through sending out the initial role PMs. Each of the role actions were loosely based on the character, so that's why we had so many FBI Agents or framed characters or killers, as it was a common theme in the movies.
If I did this again, I'd limit it to no more than 4 or 5 roles per player, and everybody would have at least 3. I felt bad for the people who only had 2 or 3 options, and kept rolling poorly each night. In the end, it worked fine though, as not everybody needs actions each night.
Thanks again to everyone for playing, I hope you enjoyed it, and now someone else go, so I have something to do instead of being annoyed with kids as they are now out of school for the summer.

Spin, I know you gave some commentary, but I'm curious your thoughts on whether the game went as anticipated? Did it play out as expected?

I was very much in favor of this format. I hate the idea of CC'ing or "my role is X and your role is too close to X to be town!" or "Y can't be town-aligned" and find it very lazy

Did I think it would have gone just like it did? Honestly, I had no idea how it would work out. There was so much randomness in the rolls, that it wasn't even worth trying to figure out how it was going to go pre-game. That said, I think the actions people got were decently balanced, other than I didn't make the mafia strong enough. Losing the SK on D2 wasn't great for the mafias chances, but it's to be expected with my games. I would definitely try something like this again, but much more refined.
Overall, I think it went well for the 2 hours I put in to throw it together.
