I was grounded as a boy (for giving the dog the "middle finger") and I thought being grounded meant you weren't allowed to leave your bedroom. My bedroom was now "the hole" if I may use modern prison speak. I had some anxious bladder issues until I was I dunno...18... so when the time came for me to pee I just...went. On my rug. It was one of the fun towny rugs with roads, police station, hospital etc.



Needless to say, the rug was RUINED

My oldest son had that rug when he was little. You must be about the same age.

I liked to throw crabapples into the road and watch cars run them over.

Jumped off a large ramp on my bike and crashed hard getting stabbed in my thigh by the spoke

We threw water balloons and I think eggs at cars from behind a row of bushes. Surprised we never caused a serious accident.

We used to have bottle rocket wars too. Pretty much all of the neighborhood games we played would be considered excessively dangerous to today's parents, but back then our parents told us to leave the house at like 9 a.m. with a bike and a ball of some sort and don't come back until dinner time. We'd do shit like trying to see how far we could double jump someone off of the trampoline, which of course had no padding or protective sides; riding bikes across the water line that ran across the ditch; I think we made a raft and tried to sail down the creek once;

I didn't know there was a difference between water balloons and regular balloons so I filled up and tied over 100 REGULAR balloons with water. At least EIGHT of the 5 gallon drywall buckets. It took me hours.

It was for my then GF's birthday the plan was to have an impromptu water balloon fight it would have been sO0 cUtEeE

She came over and got out of her car and I whipped this REGULAR balloon full of water at her and it smacked her in the back and was EXTREMELY flexible and durable and did not pop. None of them would pop. I might as well have been hurling oranges at her
