Okay, GOOD NEWS! Apparently the only thing needed to get 100% overall completion is to complete the four main overall game: main sequences, side missions, collectibles, side activities. That means that the long gone community content aka the missing sword and pistols aren’t needed for me to get true 100%. NICE! That means I’m actually able to do it. I’m turning those to 100% since I’ve done all that I’m even able to do for them

That also means if I’m gonna do this I do actually have to focus on completing all the bonus objectives in main missions aka playing a ton of them again which is gonna take some doing

Apart from that I got some huge milestones. I unlocked alllll Kenway fleet destinations so when my final trips are done I’ll have that last treasure map. I also fully upgrade my ship and FIIIINALLY defeated one of the four legendary ships. My god that was hard, those things are fucking TANKS. Three more to go, not gonna be easy at all. I also finally beat that awful game nine men’s Morris so that’s one more Abstergo challenge done

I have to do that, defeat the remaining three legendary ships, and open that final treasure once I unlock it from the fleet and I should be at 100%

I never felt more guilty ignoring a collectables quest.

Up to 97 overall. Chipping away at the bonus objectives. The only thing worse than playing every tailing mission twice is doing it a second time but having to avoid combat when you’re done with it to get the bonus :(

It’s not hard, it’s just a combination of long + poorly thought out save point + glitchy? I was half tempted to give up on this thread after trying this one dumb bonus objective for two hours straight and it wouldn’t work. We shall seeeee

I'm calling it done. I have ONE side objective left, the one I was bitching about before. All I have to do is assassinate this target using a rope swing...which I have done...three times! But the objective is fucked up, I read a bunch of people bitching about it online and they were all saying it was the only one preventing them from getting 100%, super frustrating. Some people said if you just try it a bunch of times itll eventually work, but I CBF

The reason why it sucks so bad is because as soon as you jump on him to kill him, it automatically creates a new checkpoint since its near the end of the mission. So if it decided to not count even though you did it, you would have to restart the entire longish stealth mission just for another crack at that half a second moment...which you've already completed but it just wont give it to you. Its very dumb, as much as I wanna see that 100% I cant bring myself to keep replaying that mission to get to that point only for it to not count a 4th and 5th and 6th time

Everything is done besides that. The one missing challenge I have is completing the game completely so its a wash

BUMMMERRRRRRRRR. But oh well! I got AC Origins in that sale the other week so Ill give it some time and then dive into that and very likely make a thread. Itll be nice to have a thread like this from the beginning so I wont have to replay the entire game after already completing it just for side objectives
