I think the controversy behind that is that sites were pulling stuff in fear of Disney lawyers. No idea if there's any actual copyright shit happening.


As far as the actual show though, it just seems really...meh? I don't like the 6-8 episode runs because so much stuff has to get crammed in and things just seem really rushed and lacks proper development.

ok I caught up thru ep 5 and this is actually p solid (even though reading any online discussion gushing over it makes me reflexively hate it). I have a lot of doubts the finale will have a satisfying conclusion but we'll see

they didn't even try to give any kind of conclusion. Like sure this is apparently gonna be a multi-season show now so they can't resolve EVERYTHING but idk, it just felt so...flat Also the conundrum the Lokis were presented with was kind of fun but did they really need to restate it literally ten times in one scene. What WAS that! Like we fkin get it, they want to kill him but if they do bad things are gonna happen. WE GET IT!

decent ep/show tho, don't regret watching. Jonathan Majors was clearly having a good ol time here, probably the highlight of the series tbh. Definitely made up for how dour/boring they made Loki himself

character development is all well and good but having him almost be a straight-up hero off the bat was a bit MUCH. I was kinda expecting/hoping they'd build up to some unexpected double cross (even if it's done for heroic reasons), but...nope!

that's kinda the point, this was one of the most innocuous Kang variants out there. Now that they killed him they've unleashed the actual evil variants he was keeping at bay
