Power Rangers - and it was actually cool as hell! Can't wait for the sequel

Last movies I watched were Exorcist 3 which I'd never really sat through the whole thing before. Really liked it, even if the major Exorcist plot points seemed (and apparently were, for the most part) tacked on to the overall Gemini Killer storyline. It was an interesting way to go about doing a sequel and not have it be the same old, same old. Would watch again.

and John Wick 2. It was fun like the first one, but I didn't like it quite as much. Probably because the first one just surprised the shit out of me and I knew what to expect going into this one. Still, I'd never complain about having spent time watching it.

i saw cube the other day because people here (i think..?) recommended it and it's now on netflix. i liked it a lot!

then i saw cube 2 this morning and i'm like ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.


i'll let you know when i see cube 3. i'm not expecting much

Cube 3 is a lot better than Cube 2.

But none of them are as good as Cube.

Terrible. Cool concept and I really liked the first half of it, the camera perspective being exclusively through the first person view of the three main characters was neat. But it fell apart pretty quickly after that.

I thought John Wick was decent, but John Wick 2 was kind of meh.

OTOH, I preordered Atomic Blonde for Nov. 14th.

I watched the original Halloween yesterday for the first time ever. Not much story, which was to be expected, but the first time grown up Michael Myers appears on screen in the mask is kind of freaky.
