Went to see the new Kingsmen movie this weekend. It was pretty good. Elton John kind of stole the show.

I really want to see this. Don't think it will be as good as the first though.

The Bar.

A very strange Spanish comedy-thriller movie about some killer virus affecting a group of people in a bar. I quite enjoyed it despite it being absolutely ridiculous.

Gonna check this out. It was on a list that included a movie I watched the other day, Spectral. Which was okay, kind of interesting. But The Bar was ranked above it from what I remember.

I need to know your thoughts. I had no idea it was still coming out, much less out in theaters. I thought they shelved it because of the directors, err, proclivities.

Watched The Others with the boy- he liked the twist at the end.

Watched Ghost Town- it was cute.

Mockingbird. I thought it was pretty tense and liked how it was being woven together, and then the ending was clown shoes.

Literally and figuratively.

lol I was surprised too. They showed it in select theaters for exactly one day across the country. I'm surprised they even gave it that tbh. My theater shafted it so hard, it was so funny. We couldn't even figure out where to go because there was no poster for it. It was crammed into a theater that was regularly playing Mother so it had the poster for that outside the door. The only indication that it was for JC3 was a printed out sheet of paper that simply said "Jeepers Creepers" on it and was taped to the door. Half of the lights also stayed on the entire movie. It probably made garbage money because of the director which is probably a good thing tbh, I'm shocked it got backed by anyone

And the movie itself was uhhhhh...........Jeepers Creepers 3 (: . That's the best way I can put it really without going too much into it. It might air in theaters one other day soon (I think they're still deciding), but either way it's gonna be airing on SyFy a bit after that..which is where it belongs really. It's a step between Jeepers Creepers 2 and a SyFy original

It's all a shame really because the scumbag director has some talent and it still shows here. He's got this really distinct style and pulls off cool visual stuff and unique camera movements, all of which were seen more in the first two but some of it spilled into here

It was a liiiittle bit better than I thought it'd be and it was kind of a fun viewing experience in a way, the crowd was all rowdy which makes sense since they had to be big enough fans to buy tickets to this one night showing

Script was overall pretty meh and the Creeper's van got more characterization/screentime than any human character or the Creeper. Other than the van, the standout character was actually that tubby small town sheriff who led the charge at the precinct during the end of the first one. He comes back and and him and his god awful hair plugs actually somewhat save the movie

In conclusion I need you to see it

How much did you love the dad to be and how much did you hate the businessman

On a scale from business man to guy who dies to save his pregnant wife, dad was a dad and business man was a business man

If that makes sense

Cult of Chucky, it was decent for what it was. It got major bonus cred points for having a scene where Chucky mentions Hannibal Lecter and then says "I can't believe they canceled that fuckin' show."

Gerald's Game

Solid lil movie. Thought the last few minutes were so unnecessary. Same director as Hush and you can really tell, I liked Hush way more tho. One prettyyyyyyyyyyyy brutal standout gore scene
