I'm inclined to believe Mittens. Sorry to bring Teletubbies Mafia back up again, but this sounds like an improved version of the role Curtis STARTED with in that game. He started as an unaligned third party, but once during the game he got to pick a dead player, and take their role + alignment. Curtis steals all my ideas

But there's a HUGE difference between choosing an alignment flip once and potentially changing every night. What's the strategy for mittens? What's the POINT? It just fucks with the numbers for no good reason. Mittens switches to mafia... AND THEN WHAT? Does he switch back the next night? If he knows one person let him be town does he just go back to them? He didn't say it was limited, did he?

It doesn't make any sense.

And if anything, with that claim and claiming to be town still and not wanting to be mafia, lynching him now would only be a bonus for everyone involved because then his alignment would be solidified.

And what if I killed more tonight, but he picked a random person who turned out to be scum. What's he die as?

It's a goofy role and as described it doesn't make any sense unless some key element is being left out.

And also, I hate that I'm playing this meta so hard, but what's the FLAVOR? Why would someone be a final girl one night, then a slasher the next? I can see a small possibility but it's just so silly
