Literally the only "spoiler" I knew of thankfully. And as far as I know, it has absolutely no effect on the story so meh.

Just had something amazing happen.

Was doing the Cabot mission where you had to find the sister.

I figured joining them would initiate some sort of cool side quest, so I went along with Brother Thomas and gave him all my shit. Didn't take long for me to realize it was a scam. And while bloody murder was on top of my list, I had pretty much everything I owned in my inventory at the time and I had no ammo stored away at all at any of my settlements, so even running back to get guns was useless. Anyway I searched the place top to bottom for weapons and found nothing. So I ran across the bridge seeing if I could find a cabin or some shit that would have something. Some Mirelurks spawned, so I just aggro'd them and lured them towards Pillar's base. They took them both out relatively quick but they did manage to kill one Missionary which I looted a pipe pistol and ammo from. Spent the next 10 minutes or so attempting to snipe Brother Thomas in hidden form, but to no avail. I get killed everytime since it's a shitty ass pistol and I'm in my underwear. Went out across the bridge again and noticed a Super Mutant on a bridge, so I once again attempted to lure him over. He had a missile launcher, which would have been perfect. Spent another 10 or so minutes (his AI was very, very stubborn about coming down that bridge), but he finally did and I ran him back to the Community as well where he was unfortunately slain without a single fatality. Looted his Missile Launcher and to my disappointment, there was no ammo for it on his body. Just when I'm about to bite the bullet and move out to get ammo, something amazing happens.

Holy shit!

Home for weekend, played a bit. I was finishing up a quest. I needed to talk to Deacon to complete it. But like with Danse a while back, the dialogue broke, and my character refused to say his lines. Only this time, I had the dialogue options, and my character was drunk. So each time I tried to use the dialogue options, it would instead play one of the drunk dialogue skip lines. So Deacon and my character just started each other down. Fidgeting, shifting their weights back and forth. Deacon occasionally saying "Appreciating the moment is such a lost art" or " Anyone still in there " while my character just muttered under his breath "why can't you shut up already" "uh huh... UH HUH" "blah blah blah" "Con-CURRR"

With 5 Rad X and nothing else. I ended up winging it at the end and sprinting because the radiation brought my HP to practically zero, and Radscorpions were popping up out of the ground from all directions. Now I'm in the crater of atom, with severe radiation sickness, and now I find out these assholes don't even have any medical supplies! What the hell is this shit?! The dialog wheel really annoyed me when talking to the priestess there (or whatever she is supposed to be). There were two dialog prompts for me which said: - Radiation? - Assistance? I was hoping one of them would lead to me asking for radaway or a doctor. Neither did! Anyway, one thing I have learned from this is that radiation sickness doesn't actually kill you, it brings your health down to 1 HP and stops. Which is lucky for me, because I don't fancy doing the trip through Glowing Sea again. One of the scariest locations in a Fallout game that I can remember. It reminded me of Stalker.

I Reached Virgil's place only to immediately succumb to radiation sickness after entering.

The Glowing Sea is really impressive. It reminds me of The Glow from Fallout 1, which I think it was probably based on.

Poor preparation is a recipe for disaster, to the point that you may have to reload as I have done. I like it when games don't reward you for fucking up.
